And as for emotions, because I CARE about people in Iraq who are getting killed for no reason. INNOCENT BYSTANDERS Q ARE GETTING KILLED IN IRAQ BY OUR BOMBS AND YOU EXPECT A HUMANITARIAN LIKE ME TO SIT AROUND AND DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING? Sorry, had to get that out.
And while we're on the topic of genocide, while we're splundering our money making weapons for a war, why aren't we helping other countries slightly? Hm? I mean, Bill Gates and Fall Out Boy have the right idea for donating their money. Why was it that the government didn't bat an eye about the Holocaust before Pearl Harbour was bombed, huh?
Okay sorry that was irrevelant beyond belief. My bad, i got fired up.
Actually, that is incorrect. Do you know who's bombs that are killing these innocent bystanders? Terrorists. It has been several years since many bombs have been laid on a city. And even then, casualties of innocents was lower than in any war of this scale in history. But as of late, as in the past 5 years, almost all casualties by bombs have come from one group. Terrorists. If we left, a genocide would have occurred. Would a humanitarian such as yourself preferred a genocide to stopping terrorists? I don't know. I for one think that it is a good thing we stopped a genocide. You can make your own call.
I have no idea why Franklin D. Roosevelt ignored the Holocaust. Here is a question. Do you think killing of millions of people for no reason is bad? Do you? Did you know that Saddam Hussein gassed over a million of his own people, for no reason, by dropping deadly biological weapons on him. Are you aware that the country that stopped this, was America? If you are against the gassing of millions of jews, then surely the gassing of a million kurds by Saddam Hussein you would, as a humanitarian, find absolutely repulsive. Well, thanks to America, this was ended, and for the first time in who knows how long the Iraqi people have a right to speak in their government. You know that principle of "Rule for the people, by the people"? Well, now Iraqis enjoy these same freedoms. Who can they, and do they thank for that? America. And why? Because we didn't pull out troops when things got difficult but stayed and secured the country.
And do you know what President gave the most to AIDS research? President Bush is the correct answer. African countries got 5 times more AIDS relief during his presidency. Didn't you say you wanted us to help more countries? Isn't that exactly what you wanted.
But on the note of President Obama, he has a half brother in Kenya. And guess what? He is starving to death. No aid, not even for his own half brother. Change we can believe in.
But whatever, I'm fighting a losing battle. I'm gonna shut up now.
To answer the question why we didn't leave after it was secured, it has only been completely secured in very recent times. Not even a year or so. It was still overrun with terrorists. Baghdad couldn't be walked through safely. Now it is one of the safest cities in Iraq. That's why. And at the time President Bush gave the money, we had it. Actually, that's a lie. During President Bush's presidency we had a splendid economy. I don't know what your history teacher tells you, but anything contrary to that is a boldfaced lie. We weathered Clintonian Depression, dotcom bust, 9/11, and Hurricane Katrina economy attacks and came out financially fantastic. Only in October or so did things really start to drop. Only in November did they start to plummet. They weren't secure, but as of January of 08 things were doing well in everywhere but mortgages. I have absolutely NO idea what that Clinton comment was about. You really have a weak understanding of history, especially of economics. I don't blame you, I blame the education system we have. It is really harmful, as it makes even having a simple debate with me on history nearly impossible.
All that stuff about greed, peace in troubled countries, has nothing to do with President Obama, or President Bush.
It's not that you can't understand me, so much as they clash with your worldview that America and President Bush is the almighty Satan who ate our economy while President Obama is just a poor guy who is trying to fix things but it's tough and it's not his fault they got worse but at least he got us out of that dreaded propaganda trap that is Iraq.
Something along those lines, I am guessing, is how you see the world?

PeinQ we are now no longer talking.
That was a completely, unbelievably different situation and after as many debates as we have had and how I have never threatened to even delete a post of yours, and as tolerant as WOTN is, I am overwhelmingly insulted you'd say that.
But listen, if I offended you, I'm sorry. That wasn't my intention.
It looked by the way you said it "Df got banned" who I banned for a loooot of reasons, including ignoring several warnings. And you implied that due to some threat, I was gonna ban Kakashirox. Uncool.
That's not WHY DF got banned. Stop saying that. It's erronerous. Kage's have been threatened dozens of times. I know a kid said he'd get a shotgun and find me in jacksonville and shoot it through my face. I didn't ban him.
DF got banned because of a host of reasons. And only one reason had to do with threatening a kage. And not just once. He threatened Death in PM's from his first day on WOTN, to his last. And still, that wouldn't have gotten him banned.
So I would please ask you not to take everything DF says as gold. Because it's not.
Edit: Yes, I see you said that. Do you not see how I got the implication I got?
But instead of talking to me like I always ask, you chose to debate me, lost, and are now frustrated with me, who as always, is defending himself and that is all.

I see the world as a cruel and wonderful place. I see it as a place that has to endure hardships every day and we can't stop them. I see it being very beautiful also.
I again, am just defending my beliefs. But I am done. You asked questioned, I answered them. That is all.

EDIT: Actually, really I just get frustrated and then forget that you're there to talk to.
It's okay. But don't get so upset I am just debating you.

PeinQAkatsuki wrote:Exactly, but see Q, what you said about America's true power resides in it's citizens is absolutely true. So, all of what happens to America isn't Obama's fault. The theory of government for us is to be ruled for the people, by the people. People have the right to make changes in America, therefore not making the president completely liable for things that go wrong.quater wrote:Arguably President Obama is a rockstar who became President. No experience, no true skills to speak of, but gosh darn it he was popular and a "brilliant" (if you can stay awake I suppose) orator. The world's biggest celebrity President. He may not have much abilities and be beholden to crazy ideologues, but gosh darn it he sure seems swell.
The true power of the United States is divided among 3 branches, the senate being half of Congress, which is one branch.
Edit: Ah, I lied. Technically, the true power of America resides in it's people.
And it seems that someone has figured out how to perfectly pull the strings of the people to get them to act exactly how they would like.
French Philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau theory right there in action.
But I do't know if I agree with him

Re: Political thoughts
May I add that the only reason that George W. Bush is NOT in prison right now for war crimes against humanity is because the senate has not passed that international criminal court of Justice declaration in the U.S.A.
If they did, countries such as Iraq would bring Bush to the international Criminal Court and have Bush behind bars for bringing false evidence against Iraq into the UN and saying they bomb them in 2001. Only Britain bought it and they tried passing military action against Iraq through the Security Council but it was vetoed. Still Bush pushed and basically said your for us or against us. And broke international law attacking another country, instigating a conflict and breaking the Security Council's declaration to do nothing. Basically U.S.A. invaded Iraq on false pretenses and broke many international laws and George Bush can be put up as a dictator like Stalin or Hitler, for going into other countries and killing innocent people.

I will only say that my sanity means nothing to me, and all that I am hinges on foolishness, so I guess most people would say I am wrong about many things, doesn't mean I am though, Truth is not relative.
Also this economic fall is cause by the evil in the hearts of people of America
