I believe in the bible to, Ama. My interpretation is just different from yours. No two Christians have the exact same set of beliefs- what IS important is that we get the main message right: We need God, Jesus was perfect, he died for our sins, the only way to God is Jesus.

About the U, I have a question, Aichu.

In a hypothetical situation, let's say if you have never heard of Jesus Christ, would you be sent to hell and not be saved?

I know there are some tribes in foreing countries where there is no contact with civilization where such a thing happens. It would be up to God to judge. I'm not God, so I don't know how he judges. But even with these people, God knows before the world began where they would go.

Then wouldn't it make sense that all roads lead to the same path?

What I mean is that no matter what the circumstance, you're not going to be damned just because you're not necessarily a Christian.

You believe in universalism, then?

Just because I hold on to some beliefs does not mean I do not change my mind about certain things. Like whether or not God predetermines our lives- that is a topic I'll need to go back and study and pray about, as I've been flatly contradicted here ^^;

Not that it matters as long as we all agree Jesus died for our sins because we are all sinners then rose from the Grave on the third day as God's son and accept him into our lives then it really doesn't matter if we are predestined or not. Just do God's Will and let him worry about it.

Off the path? Ah, I'm just going by what I was taught in church I run a little along the lines of the reformers in my way of thinking (Calvin, Luther, etc).

Reading back, I realized that I am very terrible at explaining things and slaughtered my own arguments Well, that's what this kind of thing is good for- share our views with other Christians before you try talking to no believers so we'= can make sure we're on the right page.
