Creation Vs Evolution

ok, i've heard some people talking about this so i decided to put up this thread/poll/friendly debate thing.

do you think we were created by god or do you think that we evolved?

stat your mind on this issues and have a friendly debate with friends.

this is not meant to tear people apart so don't go over board with the debates please.

No I wasn't iffy I am deadset against it. Always tears people up. Never had a friendly debate with an atheistic evolutionary. They can't comprehend their wrongness.

The debate brings nothing but trouble usually. But now that it is up, I have no choice but to defend my stance on Creation.

Creation is the best thing

It takes away responsibility for ones action to a large degree.

I believe evolution and creation coexist in a rocky balance. PErsonally, I prefer evolution, but that's just me :kb:

Well, why?
Evolutions may have changed a few things
but creation has given people ideas on how to make evolution better
so evolution would be nothing without creation

yea im a c...i am a c-h....i am a c-h-r-i-s-t-i-a-n......so im totally 4 creation.....BUT i do think micro evolution which is the process of natural selection is a great theory......

now for the difference...im sure a lot of u people have taken biology...and there are two different types of evolution theories...


MACRO EVOLUTION- example: a fish ran out of food in the water so it grew legs and turned into a frog the frog got cold and grew fur and turned into a sqirrel the squirrel wanted to be bigger so it became a bear the bear wanted to live in the trees so it turned into a monkey the fur on the monkey got itchy so it turned into a human....this theory is complete BULLSHIT

micro evolution- example: anti-bacterial soap kills 99.9% of germs...but what happened to that .1%...did it hide from the soap.....no it was naturally selected to be immune to the soap....so that.1% multiplied and the next time you used the soap that .1% survived again but if they were bacteria that were immune already but 99.9% got killed the .1 that survived got even stronger....because it mutated or adapted.....through the process called NATURAL SELECTION.

i'm for both since they're part of this world.

I believe it will be athiest vs. Religious type people

It's hard to prove these things because faith is very hard to discredit.

I believe evolution is better
It states changes and changes are good for the world

Im catholic myself so I beilieve in creation

I am catholic, but I think Creation has a big part of this world
Evolution is just a mere thing compared to it
