micro evolution- example: anti-bacterial soap kills 99.9% of germs...but what happened to that .1%...did it hide from the soap.....no it was naturally selected to be immune to the soap....so that.1% multiplied and the next time you used the soap that .1% survived again but if they were bacteria that were immune already but 99.9% got killed the .1 that survived got even stronger....because it mutated or adapted.....through the process called NATURAL SELECTION.

I disagree with Micro Evolution to by the way.

but what if they weren't 24 hour days? More like, millions of years in between, so the "days" would simply be metaphorical

Sabaku in hebrew God used the same word for day as he did when he said they need to walk in the desert for 4 days and find the rod of isamahapoh (That was made up but) he uses the same term for days in all connotations which means that your theory is wrong or God can't tell time. Considering he created it I doubt that.

but back then, people couldn't understand the concept of so many years, so they were simplified to "days", but it might not be real days.

God used the same term for days. He told them to go there and travel around the city with the walls freedom I forgot it. But anyway, he has the same term for days then as when he made the Earth. Also, Genesis isn't the only Place God said he made Earth, and in those spots it says nothing about millions of years either. Lastly Moses was being told this by God, don't you think he would have been able to figure it out, and they have known what a year is since forever that's a misconception since around the same timeline Mesopotamia and Egypt they were predicting yearlong events, such as droughts. King of Dreams Joseph said 7 years of good harvest 7 years of bad.

but what I'm thinking is God told Moses about the millions of years and everything, but Moses said days instead so people of that time would have a better understanding of it, since education back then wasn't exactly top notch

As for micro evolution, we see that happening today. As it has been pointed out, diseases and such use micro evolution to survive. Yet since the theory of evolution came about, there has been absolutely no evidence of evolution that can be observed. Even if it does take millions of years to evolve from one species to another, there would be at least fossils to show this, but these have yet to be found.
