To Kill a Mockingbird was pretty good- a little drawn out at times, but the ending was awesome.

I don't care. Books are a lot of work and I don't enjoy them more then movies most of the time. I love how people always go on about how books are supposed to be better because the author works so hard to use imagery but the Producers work hard don't they to make an acceptable image. So I don't really think it's fair.

Two words: Eragon Movie.

I mean, what's your point? I thought the Lord of The Rings movies were way better then the books so there? ^_^

Eragon book was okay, only like 7/10
I found the Lord of the rings books to be better, the movies didn't have tom bombadill or Glorfindel

I loved the book Eragon, but I got bored in chapter five of eldest :/

I never read brisingr except for the first couple pages.

Yep.

Books and movies are two different mediums. A book has the liberty to put as much detail as the author wants to put. A movie on the other hand caters to a different audience. A movie has a limited time to tell the story, usually about 2 hours. After two hours, the audience starts to get restless. This is especially so since the audience's attention span is getting shorter and shorter.

THen I prefer books if you get a better plot and more description :/

Animal Farm by George Orwell

That was a horrible book. SNOWBALL WAS SUPPOSED TO COME BACK. Suckish ending, if I do say so. We read it for school because of our Agriculture unit. They could have picked a million different books, but they had to pick one full of COMMUNISTIC SYMBOLISM. Half of the class didn't get it, quarter of us didn't care and didn't want to read it, the other quarter loved the book to death and devoured it in a week. I did NOT like that book. It was just stupid to make eighth graders read it.

And then all the WORKSHEETS we had with it! That was horrible!

Oh, and of course, the Twilight series, but I've rambled about that one enough.

I'm not a big fan of fantasy or sci-fi. Not my thing. I like realistic fiction, thriller, mystery... and those medical thriller things that Robin Cook writes.

yes that was the worst crap eveer...sometimes i never even read some of the chapters i hated it so much..and the movie too.
