By the way I was reading one of my own posts earlier in another thread with the Kabuto idea in it, and surprisingly remembered vital evidence I hadn't even known I had thought of.

What I said was, Itachi was in the same forest as Naruto, where Kabuto had been just a while before, maybe instead of looking for Naruto he was actually there to get Kabuto as well? Because if he were a Jinchurriki he'd be worth killing, and regardless he has Orochimaru in him so he's still worth killing.

Very true. It was also said before that Itachi was not just in charge of capturing Naruto, but of numerous other Jinjurriki. Who's to say Kabuto's Jinjurriki was not one of those Itachi was sent after?

Exactly. Of course maybe it wasn't the Jinchurriki but since he knew Kabuto had one it could make up for his lack of sucess with Naruto.

Actually though I have thought of that before, afterall Tobi being madara Uchiha and the 4th being his daddy boy sounds a bit to forumy to be original.
