Here is one scary thought for you

the word MUSE when typed into dictionary.com says this

    1. to think or meditate in silence, as on some subject.
    2. Archaic. to gaze meditatively or wonderingly.

with synonyms : cogitate, ruminate, think; dream. 1, 3. ponder, contemplate, deliberate.

In the English language, when you add an A to the front of a word it means the opposite. This works the same as putting anti in front of something.

so the word amuse when put into dictionary means this

    1. to hold the attention of (someone) pleasantly; entertain or divert in an enjoyable or cheerful manner: She amused the guests with witty conversation.
    2. to cause mirth, laughter, or the like, in: The comedian amused the audience with a steady stream of jokes.
    3. to cause (time, leisure, etc.) to pass agreeably.
    4. Archaic. to keep in expectation by flattery, pretenses, etc.
    5. Obsolete.
    a. to engross; absorb.
    b. to puzzle; distract.

    Under synonyms it says this

    1. please, charm, cheer. Amuse, divert, entertain mean to occupy the attention with something pleasant. That which amuses is usually playful or humorous and pleases the fancy. Divert implies turning the attention from serious thoughts or pursuits to something light, amusing, or lively. That which entertains usually does so because of a plan or program that engages and holds the attention by being pleasing and sometimes instructive.

    Amusement is actually pretty dangerous.

How many of you people watch Tv, either for sports, tv shows or the news or anything like that?

How many do it for their own amusement? Today we would call that entertainment, for some reason. But seriously, if your amused by tv, and other things even, how can you focus on the important things that will shape your future?
not the news, because they are useless, in fact one day last week, CNN had in the news on their website of someone getting over 1,000,000 points on a guitar hero song.

News? that is not news at all!

How many of you have heard of the North American Free Trade Agreement?

Designed to break down economical boundaries between the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The leader of the world at G20, were they not discussing a financial solution including maybe having our own currency like the European union

    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=110913

What are we missing by amusing ourselves all the time?
We are missing what the secret powers of this world are doing.

    2 Thessalonians 2:608 says this

6 And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes. 7 For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. 8 Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming.

The good thing though, is that Jesus wins, and it all ends good, but what about now? This lawlessness is working secretly, how will we discover it and defend ourselves from it when we are being amused/distracted by so many things?

    Psalms 2:2 says this

    2 The kings of the earth prepare for battle;
    the rulers plot together
    against the Lord
    and against his anointed one.

There is something that I learned a while back, a saying, which is really powerful.

The reason why people are easily lead astray is because everything (I say again EVERYTHING) has bits and pieces of the truth. Islam has some truth to it, so do Buddhism, and atheism and so on. however, the only thing which has it together is Christianity. The full truth is found in Jesus and in his Name and the Word of God.

This means basically, when people conspire against something, its not on 100% lies and their own opinions, they have some basis for truth on which to stand, which is why a lot of people believe the NWO (New World Order for anyone out there) or that 666 is the mark of the beast
    Revelations 13:17-18
(17so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

18This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.)

its the number of his name, that is what 666 is. The mark if something else.

I don't believe everything or even most things that most people believe about the NWO, a lot of them say Satan is behind it, but go on to say religion is a farce, and there is no God. Makes no sense, but its what they say.

I do believe that World leaders are plotting with each other, in some secret society, look at the Bohemian Grove, or the Skull and Bones club, or the Bilderberg group. Look at Obama's presidential team, is not most of the people working for him from Wall street? What about the Federal Reserved Act around the 30's or 40
s where America gave its money over to the Federal Reserve banking Agency? The government of the United States doesn't even have control over its own money, it needs to be lent from the Federal Reserve on interest. Look it up yourselves.

1 Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. 2 You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world.[a] He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. (Ephesians 2:1-3)
and again in the same letter Paul writes

For we[a] are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)

Paul is saying we are fighting Demons, and EVIL RULERS.

That means people like Hitler and Stalin if those types of rulers were around. But also unforeseen rulers.

War has stopped working from conquering nations, we have the technology to blow each other up with bomb after bomb after bomb.
Today, we fight on a different level. Through money. Not only through money, but through political sources as well.

You don't need to jump into a country, and bust forth with guns a blazing to take it over. By giving out loans on interests or pressuring a country economically, you can make it so that country is in debt to your own, and if it can never repay that debt, it basically becomes your own little resource.

You can believe anything here or not, but a warning, If America ever goes into Venezuela, It will not be for the same reason the Media says it will be for.

And quite lucky for humanity, the best thing we can do to fight Satan, is to live for God and his Anointed One (Which is Jesus) and be basically bible believing Christians (would be called Fundamentalist Christians today). Because in the end, it is God who holds all the power, power greater than Satan, and his demons. And will reign forever (Daniel's prophecy of the statue of Gold, Silver, Bronze, Iron, Clay+ Iron, also end of Revelations.)

Also, just a note, Satan cannot be everywhere at once, he is not omnipresent. Meaning if you are being tempted, its most likely not Satan, but rather one of his demons. And really, would Satan waste his time with you if you were not a really big threat? Wouldn't he rather send one of his demons to take care of you?

Amaterasu, I guarantee you not just me, but anyone who reads what you just said, will read it, will laugh to themselves, and then shake their head in how much you are just not getting it.

And by the way, you study Charity by money given, how much money could of been given by each individual, and how much time they spend volunteering.

if that is the way it is counted as charity, then America would be, or United Kingdom or Sweden depending on the Average on the wikipedia site I linked. But meh, who counts wikipedia as truth nowadays anyways?

Also, may I remind you, America is not God' nation, Israel is, and it always will be. America along with other countries, are just other countries, don't think that America will escape judgment or anything like that, because it won't

    Yes, I do

    In fact fairly well

America isn't that great, The rest of the world doesn't' praise you or anything, as far as I have traveled, America is usually talked about in a negative fashion, same thing here in Canada.
you're not high and mighty, and its not by your own power.

I was wondering if American Christians would denounce God rather than their own country. Because apparently, America is super great.

I HATE AMERICA! Infidels! Infidels! I hope they all die and all those selfish ones go straight to HADES! America is the worst! Its the worst! Darn it!

Thanks for enlightening me, Ama. You showed me the truth.

Man. What would I be like if I was like that? Haha.

    Way to twist words.

Seriously, would you not denounce your country if the only other option was to denounce God?

I would denounce my country, before I would ever denounce Jesus.

    Why are you dogging?

Would you ever, if faced with this situation denounce your country or denounce God, would you be able to denounce your country? Would you be able to say America is not above other countries?

See? You keep changing the question.

If God one day summoned me up to the Heavenly realm and said: Q, you have sinned.
Q:Yes, God, I know, that's why Jesus Christ forgives.

God: Yes, he does. But now you must choose. Who do you love? Me, or America.
Q: I love you both God.
God: Wrong, you can only love one of us!
    Q: Why God?
God: Because, well, because I am God.
Q: Hm, can I talk to Jesus about this or the Holy Spirit I don't fully grasp why I must choose can't I love America and get it to worship you?
    God: No no! Now choose!
Q: Well, you did create the entire universe and save me from my sins. So, isn't it obvious I choose you?
God: Hm, very good. You can go back now. Now you agree that America isn't above other nations.
Q: Yes it is, we give more and are the most charitable.
God: Well Ama said you guys don't!
Q: But we do, statistics prove it countless times regardless.

Do I think America is above other countries? Yes. American exceptionalism. Whether you like it or not. Whether your dad agrees or not. Whether you can decide what charity is, or not. We are the best country on the planet. Are we perfect? No. We are far from perfection. But America has fought harder for the cause of freedom, has told Christ to more nations, and has given more back to the world then any country to date.

And that's the end of the story. Why it matters to you, is beyond me. Personally, I think you just want all Christians to put America down so YOU can feel better about yourself.

    I'm done, I give up
I cannot say anything more except this, My dad was born in Wisconsin, and has not after coming to Canada at 13, gotten his Canadian citizenship, and keeps an American flag in his computer room...

So? What does your dad have to do with this.

Good. You should of given up earlier when I kicked your butt providing links to charity for you. You never had a foot to stand on.

If you can't admit it to yourself I will for you: You. Were. Wrong.

On pretty much everything in here. So just learn from your mistakes.

    You misunderstand Q.

I don't give up and accept your point, I would be ashamed so much had I given that response.

    You said this earlier

Amaterasu, I guarantee you not just me, but
anyone who reads what you just said, will read it, will laugh to
themselves, and then shake their head in how much you are just not
    getting it.

    and I responded with this

Also, may I remind you, America is not God'
nation, Israel is, and it always will be. America along with other
countries, are just other countries, don't think that America will
escape judgment or anything like that, because it won't

I was going to put this (and probably should have):

Any Christian hearing you say that, would not think that you were saved, who can you put above or equal with God?
Is not America the country it is today, because God made it so? It wasn't America's own power, but the power of God, so why do you glorify a country instead of God who made it like this and can as easily destroy it?

Post Wed Sep 30 2009, 21:04 by quater

I know you wouldn't. But you should of quit trying eons ago.

No they wouldn't. And you're not God, Amaterasu. Let me remind you, you are not above everyone else. You are extremely judgmental. A Christian calls you out for what you are, and you respond by saying I'm not saved because I love America. Yeah, wait to win the Christly figure of the year award.

So now you're making some inconsistent with any of the above arguments point about God making America so I can't love America. Question: If God America made it what it is, then shouldn't I love America because he made it? Shouldn't I love the things God makes? Because he is good? And God made America great? So that is good? And I should love good things, no?

Of course not! Because America is greedy.

Amaterasu, wake up and realize how incredibly bad you sound right now. You sound like your heart was just filled with hate.

Post Wed Sep 30 2009, 21:14 by amaterasu

Q, I am trying to be absolutely honest with you, I can assure you, I don't have hatred filled words. My ancestors are American, who lived in the Mid West.
This is the first time you said i was judgmental this conversation, and this is my reply. If you are calling me out now, which you are, I would have to reply saying your not saved. I have not said that yet. I said

Any Christian hearing you say that, would not think that you were save

I can't believe I am typing this Q, I really can't, but there is no other way

I am completely ashamed, how high is your pride?

I would have hoped you didn't resort to attacking me. I wasn't being judgmental at all Q. I just wanted to try and understand why Americans love their country as much or even more then they love God.

You know. There is a point to how far I'm willing to go with you. We're not even debating facts anymore.

    God Bless America.
    God Bless Canada.

    God Bless the entire world.

And God Bless you, Amaterasu. Despite how bad you sound, God Bless you. I pray, pray to him, that you're okay and you have good fortunes in your life.

    Amen. The end.
