Why aren't they getting publicity, therefore worldwide hate? It's coz they're not celebrities. People care more about celebrities than regular people. No one's disagreeing it was blown out of proportion but don't minimize it by saying he was insane for ten years. Because that's what made the difference.
That's a sad fact, PeinQ. Most people will remember you for your mistakes. Take a look at President Bush and the supposed mistakes people remember him by. Or take a look at any famous person and what do they usually remember them by? And then think about how you want to be remembered.

My mom was upset because on the radio it was all about MJ, but no Farrah Fawcett xP
But, anyway. I didn't really see much in Michael Jackson, since I didn't grow up with his music. I saw him pretty much only as a pedophile and a child molester. And that guy that dangles his baby son over a balcony.
Yes, he had tons of talent. Singer, dancer, all that. But, it was only once he started with the whole children thing, he started to screw everything up.
I don't even care about why he changed his nose - he did that only because he didn't want to look anything like his father, who abused him as a child. And it's kind of stupid that I know a whole bunch of people going around saying he bleached his face to be white, because that wasn't the case whatsoever. He had a disease.
Anyway, I keep rambling.
He was a guy with loads of talent, but people are obviously on different sides of the fence since they see him either as that or as a pedophile who likes little boys.
I'm not really for or against him. Just, let him rest in peace, I suppose.
Now little boys around the world can go to sleep without a worry, too.

Right. He did become rather creepy, though. Bleached his skin and underwent some serious plastic surgery. I'll always remember him as the pop king from the eighties though. I've listened to his music since I was ten, and I was made fun of for being an MJ fan. Still am, actually.
