Speak or Hushed

I don't mind hearing people speak about their emotions. But when they want to know if anyone would care if they did something is when they are stepping over the line [zen like lemons says the line is pink].


The thing I dislike is the whole I am going to ask people what they think about this scenario.

Thank you, Charm. Just coz people are depressed and something is exploding in their life, doesn't make them emo. Jesus people, get a life. It's okay to be an emo-hater, but learn to distinguish people who are emo, and who are just depressed.

Please point to one thread where I locked them for expressing themselves though.

I only lock a thread when I am asked. For business purposes, since the more threads we have, the more posting can be done, the better off WOTN is, and for freedom purposes since I believe we all should be able to express ourselves even if a flame is deserved for you.

As for talking down to Emo people, as you call them, I feel it is proper. Half, at the very least, is the pity me crew, and I am against that. No one in America deserves pity, if anyone world wide deserves it at all. So quit being immature brats and take it. Life isn't friendly, but when you finally accept that and embrace it, it'll help you.

So, wholehearted disagreement with you.

I just wish I had seen this last night.

Edit: I enjoyed Titan's talk of the subject. Also, instead of WOTN leaving, you could always, I know this sounds crazy, but talk to a Kage about something. You know most of the Kage's actually have some heart in them, and Charm said wouldn't know why they are leaving, but, how can we fix the problem if no one tells us there is one? And if you think these "I am leaving threads" are not an insult to those of us who work hard on WOTN, you are mistaken. I am sure all the Jounin feel splendid seeing an "I am leaving thread" while they worked their butts off to make the WOTN yearbook and you know the new Kage's would love to see people leaving as they try and replace the old ones. Really. Must make us all who work so hard feel just fantastic.

And I agree with Q too. Lately there have been a bunch of people asking for pity and I'm like "Dude, you don't have it all that bad. So get a life and freaking MOVE ON." But some people just need some psychiactric help, and they need help. But don't ask for pity coz most people are sick of giving it.

Yeah, I just recently opened my eyes to people who are manipulators. And yeah. Plus I only reserve my pity for people who need it, and then that escalates into helping them. But not for whiners that have it really nice, but they just need to get over themselves.

So I agree with both of you. Don't depress people any more than you have to... but don't ask for pity either.

Good. There are a lot of manipulators, as you called them, who are just whining for pity. Especially on WOTN. In fact, I think those who are NOT bringing attention to themselves are the ones who need help. The ones who DO bring attention to themselves are the ones in that "Pity me" mindset and it drives me crazy. I hate whiners >_> And they also turn into liars. Anything to get that boost of "affection" that they seem to need.

And as Titan pointed out, it hurts the Ramen shop too, and it's unbelievable rude to people who help WOTN.

Right. The people who are depressed, but don't go around preaching it, are the ones you should pay attention to. But once someone starts whining about anything, they get annoying and then we all call them "Whiny posers" or "Pity Me People". They need to know that NO ONE CARES, so just shut up for once. But if someone is threatening to like leave or something, then ask for what's wrong and try to talk to them.

There may be a reason. Maybe someone's pissing them off, but still. If you're gonna leave, then just make a topic saying you need a break, and then come back when you're ready. I'm guilty of making a topic like that. Don't know where it went, but yeah.

Yea.sometimes i say things to people that i dont mean to say, but once it happens it leads to a disaster.

Acting on emotions can be good sometimes, but mostly know what you're doing before you do it.
