Who said you have to ignore them? But if you take wisdom a person who does not have the faith, how can you tell if that wisdom is God-pleasing or not totally false?

He is already saved

But he has fallen and is now struggling to find the truth
and he is getting closer

his comments about Lucifer and the the world were before his fall.

Do you mean fallen from grace? Because it is impossible to lose one's salvation. (falter yes, but fall away from God no)
