And with a Democrat Congress, probably one that will stay, and an extreme democrat liberal President, you don't think that these affiliations wont be a problem? How about the fact that he actually chose to be friends or partners with these people which someone shows his world view? The American system is one of accomodation that prevents the tyranny of the majority or minority. The president can not pass his bills if he does not work with congress. The democrats may be liberals but there are a wide range of democrat, just like there are a side range of republicans.

Jimmy Carter did not work with and Congress and his presidency is considered the worst presidency ever, all because he refused to work with congress, a Democrat controlled Congress.

It would be a sad day when Congress just unanimously agreed with the president. The only time that happens is in a time of unique circumstances, much like events of September 11th, or World War II.

Jimmy Carter Also was a President of extreme appeasement and created the current crisis in Iran. Sad sad little man.

And you have no ilk at all TFK that Obama chose these arrangment of America haters to be his wife, his pastor, and his close friends and comittee runners? Afterall If I recall the President does pick his cabinet, or various parts of it, and he will pick his vice President, and these are very important places of power no? Not to mention if these are the kind of decisions he makes with people close to him, then what kind of decisions will he make when America needs a leader?

Though I don't disagree With TFK. The House of representatives and various other places of political office that will be switched are just as important come election day as the President, but I do think a persons affiliations helps define who you are.
