Tournament Ideas

okay, village trademark jutsus are the only exception

I like most of these ideas, i do however have a problem with the Statless genin idea. Some of us with higher stat points actually earned every one of them, unlike a few not-to-be-named memebers. Since we actually earned these stats i believe it is our right to use them in battle. Also if we hold tournaments where stats and rank do not matter, then no one will bother trying to gain any more stats or ranks because the only thing they are really good for is in the battle arena. If no one bothers gaining any more stats or ranks, the site will suffer.

I do see the idea behind it and will participate in the next tournament regardless of wether i am allowed to use stats or not. I am perfectly capable of functioning without them, I merely wished to point out why it may not be the best idea.

As for the admin, i do not believe silver is online often enough for the job. Dei on the other hand is more than capable, if she is willing of course.

It wasn't aimed toward you. At least not you alone.
And as far as i remember you at least did something to earn the stats that you have. At the very least you did not gain them through trickery or begging.

End, how do you think the tournament should be run? We need more opinions

Well, the last hundred or so was done through a varity of missions ^_^;;

I actually think that you have a relatively good idea over all. It would be better to have others constantly striving to gain more stats so that they can stand to compete against those of us that seem to be so threatening, rather than eliminating the threat.

I especially like the thoughts about the host, the payment part as well as not allowing them to take part in the tournament. That way they cannot 'close' the entire tournament just because things are not going their way, or because they were caught fixing the tournament and then lieing about it afterward, like someone else i can think of.

Well, if only the kage would share these missions with the rest of us. Im sure alot of memebers would be highly appreciative.

Nii-chan, what do you think would be a good number for the amount of people that host/moderate the tournement? I mean, we have to take how much fighting experience they have, how biast they are, as well as their fairness and how many hours they come on wotn each day, but how many do you think we should have?

If the tournament is well organized it should take no more than 2 host/moderators, and no more than 1 administrator to run the tournament correctly. I do believe the mods should be at least relatively familiar with the battle arena and how the battling system works. I dont believe biast should be a problem since the mods will not be competing in the matches, but obviously some form of maturity is needed to keep them from aiding a friend more than others.
