The Last Airbender Live action?

I didnt even know they were making a live action movie of this but they could have put in a better cast at least I think.

List O' Cast:

Noah Ringer : Aang (newbie)
Nicola Peltz : Katara (newbie)
Jackson Rathbone : Sokka (Known for role In Twilight)
Dev Patel : Zuko (Slumdog Millionaire)
Cliff Curtis : Ozai (In many flims but im to lazy to type all.)
Jessica Andres : Suki (newbie)

i heard about this a while back. but i think it would suck to make a live action movie.
don't care much for the cast.
nothing can beat the show itself XP i miss that show.

I can't watch Dev Patel in anything cause I remember him from Skins, and the rest of them seem pretty sucky.

Live action is usually fail though.

I don't get the cast, so I don't get what's wrong with it.

I really think it would turn out crappy..and just kill the show's awesomeness

Honestly, I don't think any anime is good enough to make a live movie of.

And if it is, it won't do it justice.

I don't know any of those actors either.

wouldn't do any good to do live action of avatar. just would end up killing the whole awesomeness of the show's rep.

I don't get the cast, whatsoever. Doesn't mean a lick to me.

But, you guys keep saying, "Oh it'll kill it! Live whatever," but all the superhero movies (Batman, Spiderman, Ironman, X-Man, Transformers) are pretty much the same things and they all turned out splendidly. Well, not all but usually they do well. So I say it has a chance.

I considered getting the first deathnote movie last night at wal mart, instead of the naruto box set (that was insanely cheap- 13 bucks), but I might want to watch it on youtube or something first because I don't think it'll be as good as the anime/manga.

Besides, it was twenty bucks.

It's under the direction of the guy who did signs, sixth sense, and all those b and c grade horror films. And a fantasy film that was elected worst film of the year...

I really, really want to give it a chance, but it's a longshot.
