Why let someone get to much power ren? If no war, people will only get more power..we need to stop that!

It could put a cocky Shadow in it's place. It could make Sand Very powerful and help us get respect we are missing. It could create us a friend in Mist. It could help gain the trust of the nations. And a possible ally is asking us to back it up.

Is the number one Sand fighter worried about us being blood thirsty, on a NINJA Site?

Its not because we are war-mongers. Its to show that Sand will not back down from a fight. To show we have Loyal fighters, and members that will do whats needed to help Sand.

Afterall, there's a chance that Shadow might give in peacefully.

But this is what all the village recruiting, training, battling, is about. It's about making Sand strong.
