I think it amazing that teacher's claim students have no interest nowadays. Doesn't that just prove that teachers themselves are to boring? They say we kids can't keep up because we are so uninvolved and caring, but I think that proves they are inadequate, especially since with competition between colleges stronger then ever and every thousandth decimal point important for valedictorian, if they think students don't care, they must not be paying attention, or can't teach well maybe?

Well, 1st of all, it's very easy to get an A in every class. Second of all, how do we know you're not lying? It's easy to lie on the internet. Third of all, 75% of all people in high school get A's ^_^ Think about that.

i'd say more around 25% or less

or is that discounting the drungies?

My school has a 85% A rate ^_^

Yep. Also because they concentrate so heavily on homework, and most people actually do it... I actually had a marking period with no tests at all.

And grades don't mean much, actually when it comes to intelligence... They mean something, but not everything.

And I think grades reflect some, but they aren't a perfect summary either.

Never actually had a pop quiz. Doesn't matter either, every quiz with my teacher's feels like a Pop Quiz because I never have a clue what's gonna be on it sadly.

I am not so sure it depends on what level class you're taking. Schools and teachers can be anyone. I was in Honors Chemistry and had a psycho teacher, took it again in Standard and had an awesome teacher, but my best teacher I've ever had was my AP World History teacher, who thanks to him I got a 5 On that exam. So there really is no balance in teacher's from my point of view.

My regents S.S teacher teaches about nothign a day, and 90% of the class has an A in his class, my Honors Geometery teacher teaches about nothing either, and 60% of her class has a D or lower. She told us and even showed the class average...

And okay, interesting comparison. My teacher's often try and flaunt how ineffective their own teachings are by displaying how poorly we do there.

Not knowing what's on the quiz...

Same with mine... There is one teacher that I have though... Everyone has a B+ or higher, and he's very proud of that.

To be honest, he's probably a good teacher.

I think it amazing that teacher's claim students have no interest nowadays. Doesn't that just prove that teachers themselves are to boring? They say we kids can't keep up because we are so uninvolved and caring, but I think that proves they are inadequate, especially since with competition between colleges stronger then ever and every thousandth decimal point important for valedictorian, if they think students don't care, they must not be paying attention, or can't teach well maybe?
