Huh. In all honesty, I haven't been a big fan of the Akatsuki "As a group" after their purpose was revealed. Before I get bashed by the Itachi fan-girls...and guys...let me explain.
I am a storyteller. Weaving tales is what I do. So it's dissapointing to hear that the semi-main villians from the manga I have been following from its inception have such a stereotypical aim. *Spoiler here! Avert your eyes children! Unless you're a cyclops. Then avert your eye!*
Take over the world? Honestly. Wow. I've heard children come up with better. Although the means is still original- (I guess...though the creation of world war can probably be acredited to Germany. Those silly Nazi's and their racism.)- The ends is stupidly uncreative.
It sucks that such a cool group of indivudals is working for something so bland.
Unless of course, Kishimoto changes the script at the last second and makes me look like a total idiot. Which, according to the law of the universe, I expect he will.
