by Alright I did start this a while back but didn't know what to do with it yet. So I figured to change some characters and add it to go with the them of this site ^_^ Well I do hope you enjoy, let me know what you think.
Chapter One:
It was the first day of spring, and Makiko figured to go for
a walk to stretch her legs. After
walking for a few miles, she stopped to sit underneath a tree, closing her eyes
to relax until hearing loud sounds coming from the other side of the bush. “Ah
what the heck are you thinking?” She hears a male yell. The noises kept going
on and on so Makiko stood up and threw a rock at their way. “You missed.”
Another male voice says. Then the one who had his back to her turned around and
looked directly at Makiko with a calm yet curious look. “Why would you throw
such an object toward us?” He asked. You couldn’t help but stand there
cautiously, yet gazing into his large light honey brown eyes.
“Makiko…Makiko where are you!” Someone yelled. The said
voice calling out to her caused her to quickly snap out of her trance.
“Coming.” She yell out to the voice. Makiko then turned around, running off
toward the person calling only to find it was her friend Yuki. “I thought I saw
you walking around.” She said, but Makiko not spoke a word just still seemingly
caught in thought. “Makiko what is wrong?” she asked. The concern sound caused
the young silver-green eyed girl to look up at her friend to see a worried look
on her face and Makiko suddenly started to laugh at her. “Nothing Yuki nothing
is wrong.” She replies.
Makiko started to walk and Yuki took a moment, then followed
both were starving so they stopped at a ramen-sushi shop. Both ordered their food and drinks, and just
as the waiter walked away Makiko noticed something afar. She then put up her
hood over her head to hide her face, Yuki took notice staring at her friend. “Makiko
what are you doing?” she asks her, still staring at the back of Makiko’s long
black hair with silver streaks. Makiko didn’t reply to her friend’s question,
only keeping her palms to her face.
“It’s them from the park.” Makiko says, shying away. Yuki
understood her mumbling words, then took notice following her gaze to the two
boys that were looking so much alike. “Hm.” Is all she muttered. Makiko put her
head down and Yuki returned her gaze back around to her young friend. “Do you
know who they are?” she asked. “No, but they sure was loud in the park
earlier.” Came Makiko’s reply. Their meal arrived and Makiko took the hood off
and sat straight up. Yuki and Makiko both picked up chop sticks, and begin to
eat.
Yuki saw them staring
at Makiko from the corner of her eyes, tried so hard not to look over, but
Makiko noticed her face. “Makiko are you going to finish that?” she asked her
friend to change the subject pointing at Makiko’s bowl. Again no voice rumbled
through Makiko, she just pushed the bowl to her. After Yuki was finished they got up and
started to walk back to Makiko’s place. “Yuki what are we going to do for
tonight?” She suddenly asks. “Well I should rest tonight, I do have a mission
tomorrow.” She replies, Yuki looks at her friend’s expression.
“Yu-chan I knew that already.” Pouted Makiko, Yuki hugs her
tightly then continues on to walk Makiko home as always. As they both got to
the pathway of Makiko’s home, Yuki walked part of the way and says to Makiko. “I
promise, I’ll take you later the rain village.” Makiko nods her head, as Yuki
gave one last hug to her friend, turning she left Makiko under the cloudless
night. Makiko turns walking to the door, she stops looking up at the chilling
moonlit night as she shivers. The front door suddenly opens, there standing was
her elder twin brother; Makoto “Where did you go?” He questioned. “To the park and
I happened to have bumped into Yuki.” She replies, with her innocent sweet
voice. He didn’t question her after so he walked away from the door for Makiko
to come through. “Makiko come her please.” Another of her elder brother called
from the kitchen. She walked to the kitchen and saw Rikdo, Ryouji, Kyouichi,
sitting talking to Makoto.
“Ryuu Makiko, you should know you should not be out alone,
you should be studying like your sensei says to.” Rikdo stated, his voice
hollowed with anger. Makiko looks at him stunned that he cared about her studies
since he is mostly gone. “Forgive me onii-sama, I’ve already finished my
studies. I thought a walk to calm myself wouldn’t hurt.” She replies back to
him. Ryouji stood up from his chair, holding an item in his hand. “Kazekage-Q
came by to deliver this saying, Kiko-chan this pendant needs to stay on you at
all times. Kazekage-Q, may be friends of our village elder but that don’t mean
for you to be laid back.” Ryouji and Rikdo left, only Kyouichi kneels in front
of you his hand on your shoulder. “Makiko you shouldn’t be so careless.” He
says, looking at her with his stupid smirk on his face.
Makoto smiled, grabbing the pendant off the table, walking
behind you to place the pendant necklace on again. A puff of spoke enters,
there standing as Makiko started up the stairs to head to her room. She knew
that voice from anywhere, as the person spoke to Rikdo. “Rikdo, I have a
mission for you and Ryouji.” Bano says, handing them a scroll. Makiko smiles,
running to the voice as he looks to her “Yamakage- Bano, here to take my
brother’s again” She laughs, as if she only could say what she truly wanted.
“No Kiko, they are going to follow the Kazekage back to his village.” He
replies to her just as her son’s walk into the home.
“I still can’t see how Makiko still looks so young, yet she
has two sons.” Bano smiles, his expression became priceless as his mouth
dropped to the floor. “Geez, why do you all treat me like a child.” Replies
Makiko, sweat dropping as she gave him a pout expression. Rikdo, and Ryouji
stood up, they follow Bano outside to meet with the Kazekage. Zergio looks to
his mother as do Jay. “Alright, lets go for some ramen, since your sister won’t
be home till late.” She says, letting out a tired sound. To many villagers,
Makiko was like a child; even at times acted as one. Her mixed youkai blood
kept her the way she is, at times she is ruthless, but often her much gentler
sided nature comes out.
“Hey mom?” Zergio calls out, he looks to Jay then back to
her as she looks at him. “Yes, Gio?” She replies, her sweet smiling voice
echos. “It’s about Gio’s sword seal.” Jay butts in.” Zergio looks to Jay, then
corrects him with annoyance in his tone. “Zergio.” Makiko finishes her meal
smiling at them both as she remembers taking them in, yes Zergio and Jay were
not her blood, yet it didn’t matter. Still in her eyes they were her sons, even
her daughters; Yuki Akane, Kuno and Emi were not her own. Makiko’s eyes
sparkled in the candle light, then she stands up putting her hand on their
shoulders. “Enough Jay, don’t make Black Gio come out.” “But mom.” He pouts his
bottom lip up.
“Too late.” Came a snicker, Makiko stands up looking at
Zergio. “Jay watch over him, and Black Gio behave please. I need to go check on
something, don’t worry boys the bill is already paid.” Makiko says, smiling as
she saw the evil expression on Black Gio’s face.
