^ I as well!! Especially since I moved here, I have been trying to avoid tall grass... People who have been bitten by a snake usually say that they never saw it coming...

I''ve been bitten by two non-poisonous snakes. One was about 5 inches long and could barely get its mouth around my finger. It felt a lot like velcro. The other one was bigger, someones pet, but still a decent size. That one hurt a bit, if I recall.

I remember walking through a small patch of grass, between two stores, and running into a water Moccasin ~ My brother was walking with me so I yelled snake and took my arm and shoved him back. It lifted its head, stared at us, then slithered into some long grass nearby.

I saw a snake when I was in Florida too!! It was cool, but do they eat the lizards you guys have that run around everywhere?
Cause you guys have a hell of a lot of lizards in Florida too... or Orlando anyway.

We do have a lot of lizards!

I don't really know, but I'd assume so. ^^

We have lot's of weird wildlife. Like there's two toads living in my garage. A frog living on our roof. And a thousand lizards living around the walls of the house. But luckily, no snake! Although there was at one time a snake living in our attic.

Don't know how it did, but it was scary!

I don't think we've had one get into our house yet. We had a toad go hopping through our house, but no lizards.

The only snake I've ever come in contact with was more of a worm than anything else. Not poisonous at all.
The others I've seen were causing my siblings to panic so I scared them off. Gotta love younger brothers.
