No, Naruto knows that shadow clone technique, rasengan, walking on water deal.

It would ultimately be at best a tie because Naruto could easily step on water while Luffy would drown.

Right but Naruto isn't planning on living on a lake, and Luffy has fought the best Sea Mermen in the sea and other various pirates on small planks of wood while poisoned and always comes out on top.

I'm afraid the idea that Naruto could beat Luffy, with Luffy's gear 2 and 3, imperviousness to almost all punches and hits and even most blunt objects, and Luffy's near indestructibility, Naruto will not stand a chance.

Naruto can make a million clones and Luffy will Use Gattling punch to defeat them.

Naruto can use Rasengan and Luffy defeat that, and if things get antsy say Naruto goes 9 tails Gear 3 could be used, though it's doubtful it'll be needed. 9 Tails could easily be matched and clearly defeated with gear 2. I have never seen anything to lead to me believe it couldn't.

He could.

Luffy has beaten Giants, Giant Demons, Giant Cowfish, Giant Sea Kings, and a plethora of examples of Luffy being able to beat it.

It's like a really powerful rubberband punch and if it can hurt us imagine it stretching out huge spaces and come at us with Luffy's strength

Yes, but the writers or both series want to make it look like both Main characters are super awesome and strong and all that other stuff.
