Gaara Verse Sasuke

Its just the Author of Naruto failed to perform when it came to making an Anime that could keep up.

And I blame this wholly on Naruto. Naruto was a pretty good fighter at the end of the first series. And, he spent 3 years with Jiraiya. And when he got back to the series it was like he was weaker than he had been before he was with Jiraiya. He knew absolutely NO new moves from his experience. In reality, nothing had changed and things had really gone for the worse.

An important part of making any Anime or Manga is that you should have your characters getting stronger. And not every fight has to be life or death. Its okay if the main character woops someone's butt. It makes people get excited for the series. And your character needs to be able to shoot off new awesome moves, too.

All things Naruto can't do. He'd rather talk.

Ichigo and Luffy both got really strong after a while (saving Rukia and CP9 arc)

but we don't see that with Naruto at all like you say
until the sage mode, and even then he can't use with without being still or ahving a clone near the water

Exactly. Ichigo became beast enough to fend off Byakuya in a short time. And remember his fight against Ikkaku? Tough but he managed pretty well. Imagine if the Author of Naruto did the fight with Ikkaku? It'd a been 30 chapters and life or death the whole way through.

Plus Naruto is too dependent on the 9 tails. Its really gotten old.

I think Ichigo can get an entire hollow form (like he was against the #4 guy) same for the other vizards

yeah, and hopefully, that form is pretty cool, and he is pretty strong

But I wish the other idiots would get out of the way. Let Sasuke and Gaara fight on their own. No Raikage, no Temari, and yes, even the cool Kankouro needs to get out.

If they did that this fight would be crazy.

I hate Sasuke so much. I swear if, his character was created in any kind of Naruto roleplay, it would be called god-modding. He can fight equally, and probably beat one of the (I assume) strongest kages + Gaara plus the strongest ninjas from their village + the strongest tailed beasts. I really, really hate him. He's like Goku. He just keeps getting stronger. What is he, sixteen? Why does he even keep jugo and them around? To play checkers with? What are they good for?

Gaara can't beat Sasuke. There's just no way. There shouldn't be any reason for this fight to even happen.

I see no reason why Sasuke couldn't be defeated by Gaara.

The Raikage hardly seemed strong to me. He was boring to watch, at best.

Also, Gaara hardly seemed to be using his best moves with Sasuke. And even if Gaara couldn't defeat Sasuke I bet it'd be a heck of an enjoyable fight.

Personally I like Sasuke. He's strong, which is good. Because so many of the other Naruto Characters are totally weak and annoying. I hate annoyingly weak Characters. Naruto himself, for example.

As for the Roleplay, I have no idea.

And the reason for this fight? Isn't it obvious? Sasuke's a wanted criminal. Even if Gaara can't win there's plenty of reason for him to try.

Yeah, sure. Epic battles at the expense of Gaara to the series. That'd totally be worth it.

Plus it'd give Naruto a reason to not suck and learn to fight.

"Naruto, we need to talk. Your questionairres are bad, your ratings are down."
"Is it because I have backed down on my promise to save Sasuke?"
"Well, no. Its because I'm screwing around. Its also because you haven't learned any new moves in eons. You can't really fight. You talk people to death."
"Hey that Pein thing was your fault."
"Heheh, well, who knew? I thought he was emotastic and that'd be enough."
"True that. So what should I do?"
"Well, to boost my ratings superflously and maybe give people something ninja ish, like a fight, like back in the old days of the series when Orochimaru was killer cool, I'm going to let Sasuke and Gaara fight."
"Oh, I get it! And I run in and save the day and tell them to talk it out?"
"What are you, the UN? No! We're just going to let them fight an epic battle."
"But, then they have flashbacks and filler, and then talk it out?"

They all fail. Akatsuki fails. Raikage fails. Sasuke fails. Naruto fails. Kakashi fails. Shippuden fails.

The original Naruto was uber. Sasuke was some spastic kill everyone good guy, Naruto tried to be Sasuke. Kiba was awesome. Itachi was just all mysterious. Same with the Akatsuki. Shippuden fails.

Kakashi, Original Gaara, Itachi, and Zabuza, were like 1337. No one can match them. But Naruto has that fail "Every generation is weaker than the next" thing. Shippuden fails.

Seriously. Kazekage Gaara? What happened to no one loving him. Epic Fail. The serious got a wicked kick start with Zabuza. And really. Itachi made us think of him. God-like, sadistic serial killer. Gaara is the same. He just sits there all cool while the sand fight for him. But then, Kakashi is like, awesome because of the mask. But then he ends up real weak in Shippuden. Shippuden fails. The characters actually had good designs in the original. Shippuden fail.
