Uchiha Brothers and Their Choice Makeup

Okay, so this morning, I was lying in bed, wondering if it was worth getting up because I was so bored, when I came across an interesting thought.

When you see close ups of Sasuke, he looks as if he's wearing eyeliner. Now, you could say that it's just how his eyes are drawn, but for the sake of argument, let's say he wears eyeliner. Now, Itachi, you see his eyelashes. It took me a double take the first time I saw him to see that he was, in fact, a dude, and not a girl. So, tell me, does that mean Itachi, killer of the Uchiha clan, wears mascara?

Now, my fellow Way of the Ninjas, there are pictures attached. Tell me if you think Itachi is wearing mascara, or not. Give me a good reason too. Now...go!

It does look like Itachi is where mascara.

I think it's just how they are drawn, PeinQ. Anime is not exactly super easy to draw, and so by drawing them with hi eyelashes showing it gave Itachi a different look.

Heavy eyelashes are meant to emphasize eyes. And since, ya know, that whole sharingan thing, the eyes are the focus of his face.

But I agree. Definately some make-up going on there.

They are astronomically humongous.

My theory is that he wakes up and does that on purpose. His nails are purple too. Think that is natural? I think not.

When Itachi lived in Konoha, his lashes were not nearly that long

Plus, if they were natural, they would be hereditary and as far as I can tell, Sasuke does not have them.

Oh, good point about the nails!! I forgot about those. Don't all the akatsuki have their nails painted?? O_o

And what do you want me to say? I don't think you're right so I have to say so. You can't just make a theory up and then say for the sake of argument everyone agree.

I never said that, you know. I was just doing my part to bring back the section. I said I got your point, this is just a theory to see if anyone else thinks it's possible. But I do understand; that's your opinion. I just misread what your post said. I apologize.
