The Uchiha's

Okay I read the books and watched the series online but I'm still confused. Itachi was on a mission to kill his clan, right? He couldn't bring himself to kill his younger brother though. But, it said he got help killing the clan by tobi/ *spoiler* Madara Uchiha. And Madara is said to have*spoiler* summoned the nine-tailed fox demon. Can I get some assistance in clearing all this up please? And no negative comments please.

and sasuke was like oh no, I need to no die and get revenge
so this young kid

tries to go after Itachi and Itachi lets him lives, then Itachi foes to the Head of Konoha's Root division Danzo

And tells him that if he kills sasuke, Itachi will kill him


And so Itachi joins the Akatsuki

then Sasuke kills Itachi after some less important stuff happens
