Right! Unless they have some sort of strong emotional bond to a place, then by all means live there, just be watchful of floods!

Right! I suppose that's something if there's a reason they CAN'T work, like an illness or something. But able-bodied people should be able to find a minimum wage job at the very least.

I disagree. So what if you have an emotional bond to a place? That doesn't mean you should continuously get money to rebuild a home that is going to flood.

At the moment, jobs are notoriously hard to get. If everyone starts to get minimum wage jobs, then by simple principles, those jobs will be filled and they won't be able to hire anymore.
