There are a lot of weird stories in the Bible.
Like an assassination of a man who was so fat that when the knife penetrated him to kill him it got caught inside his blubber so people thought he was still alive.
Plus, the Bible has unbelievable history accuracy. Like Nebuchadnezzar going crazy.

Re: Egyptian Gods/Goddesses
Ha ha, yeah sounds interesting. Too bad I've got a mound of homework PLUS a social life to keep in balance :/ The former comes first though, so I feel like a nerdy hermitquater wrote:PeinQAkatsuki wrote:Ah well. If I weren't here, you could many things like twiddle your thumbs or contemplate your navel.
Without reading the question, If Alexander were considered Egyptian, then he could also be considered Indian which he definitely was not. He was pure Macedonian. After his death, Greek culture started to spread in the Hellenistic period but that was after his death just shy of age 33.

Re: Egyptian Gods/Goddesses
Well, lucky for me you are here, so as fun as that sounds it looks like I'll have to pass this time.
That's where the "honorary" part came in. But yes, I suppose you are correct.

Re: Egyptian Gods/Goddesses
So if I conquer a nation, I could be an honorary citizen of that nation? Or maybe I would still be a citizen of my nation and the conquered are citizens of my nation.

Twas just a theory. A bit half-assed - I could have thought it through more, but what can I say - my oh so eager fingers just jumped to the letters on the keyboard without my brain's permission. It happens sometimes.
