Favorite Decade?

Q-tip get's happy about using big words?

I like awesome words. They tend to be largess. Don't know why. The more the word is painful to say the more fun it is to say.

I love big words! ^_^ And glad people get to use em!

I don't like cliche words. I was freaking out today in creative writing because I refused to use the word 'wonderful'. I combed a thesaures for 15 minutes and then the bell rang >.< I had to settle for spectacular, but that's still cliche.

How are either of those cliche?

Does 1330 count as a decade?

Q: I just hear them used much too often. I normally wanna use words that you know what they mean, but don't hear them as often... like asphyxiate for suffocate, radiate for shine, incinerate for set on fire ect. ect.

I like incinerate.

Chimerical, peasant, philistine, plebian, etc. Are mine.

Lotsa 'p' words going on there.

P's are right up there with Q's! ^_^ Not as good, but special protectors.

I don't think it was an army made up of ninjas, just army founded by ninjas.

I don't think ninjas have "ninja armies".

Just because you don't typically think of ninja being in a huge army, doesn't mean they can't be. It wasn't the type of army that would rush head on into another army, it was the type of army that would split into several platoons and raid several cities at once, creating mass chaos to the enemy. It augmented the defense force of Yoshino, which simply focussed on defending their own territory while the ninja held an offense behind enemy lines.

It would seem you both have some evidence here to support yourself.

sure there were groups of ninjas. During the Tokugawa Shogunate, they were largely considered spies who would live in a village for generations to become accepted into the province. When the "government" needed their services, they would call upon and they would serve. These individuals were nicknamed the grass. There was another branch of the Shogunate that would deal in the assinations of corrupt "governors" of the province. This can be considered an army in the broadest definition where an army is a land based armed forces of a nation.

All very true, but the Tokugawa Shogunate didn't begin until 300 years later. And the Iga ninja tribe joined 200 years after that.
This all still does not change the fact that in 1330, there was an army of ninja!
