Politics is the only class I really like this year. Except maybe Ap European History.

Ok! Someone needs to tell me what you learn all year there.

There are the 3 branches, make diagrams, do what you got to do to learn more about the three and checks and balances.

Also how two senators per state wind up in congress and the origins of this resolution on how it came to be.

Then, that's all I can think of.

I am in AP Gov Right now.

It's been a lot of talk about current events, about a Chapter on Liberalism and Conservatism, a Chapter on smaller voting blocs and the effect voters have, how people interact in elections or in politics, the different types of voters, the different types of Governments besides Republics and how a federal system works, bill of rights constitution articles of confederation and the 17 ammendements to the bill, and so on and so forth. And we spend at least one day a week sometimes two talking about the current affairs of the political season, election year, etc.

Um, I actually do not.

I'm in US History. Whoopie. I don't mind it, we're debating the Dawes act now. Which is pretty cool.

The current events and truly relevant topics like elections and politics sound like a wicked fun amount of time. I hope you don't have to memorize the amendments though or parts of the founding documents, ick. That would totally just kill that course. It's more complex than I originally thought

You do have to do that in AP Gov.

But for me it's easy peasy

Like most kids get C's on the tests but I have been cruising with a nice 95-99 in that class.

I don't pay attention to politics. I mean, I even tuned out the news (-le gasp- I was watching the news) when the whole presidential debate started. :P I mean, I do care who runs the country. I just hope who ever gets elected has enough smarts to keep the country from failing -shrugs-
