Simple Plan's Genre

Okay, second post of the evening, but I don't care. I've got a burning question.

I love Simple Plan (call them posers if you want, I don't care. I still love 'em). But what do you think they are? Punk, emo, or neither? I seriously think they're more leaning to the emo side, but what do you think?

First of all, I hate Simple Plan. I think they're like a pop-rock hybrid.

A Skylit Drive is a beastly band.

Neither, I go with Pop-Rock like Spyke said.

What Spyke said, they're pop-rock. The second album is a little bit of the darker kind of pop-rock, but it's still definitely pop-rock.

They are pop-rock.
Most deffinatly NOT emo,

-shrugs- I was listening to "Your Love is a Lie" so it sounded a bit emo. If I had to put them on a scale where punk was on one side, and emo was on the other, they would be more emo-pop-rock than punk.

no, it's just sometimes i type really fast that my words get misspelt or they get stuck in a vortwx of messyness

I, for one, love simple plan. Not enough to get a tshirt, but I love their music. I prefer Across Five Aprils and Bayside and AFI and Blaqk Audio though.

I say punk ^_^
