yea, i think he'll be one of the last ones to die. i just think the author is saving itachi for sasuke, for one of the big battles like Gaara and Lee or orochimaru and sarutobi.

I agree it will be a long drawn out battle when Itachi finally dies if he is the one to lose the fight.
