how did the dinosaurs die.
i have several theories

one is that the disease from all the dead animals started to spread like a disease, eventually wiping them all out.
i also think that a volcanic eruption put earth into a world of ash, which eventually filled their lungs and killed them all.
basically, i believe that a meteor did not kill them

I am going to move this to the Ramen Shop. And For the world it was Noah's Flood.

A meteor is what gave the dinosaurs the finger. And what a finger it was. First off, the dust and debris completely blocked out he sun for quite a while, which did in the plant life, and although the plants began a comeback, the herbivores were already kicking the bucket, which along the line screwed everybody over.

Now, everythin could have been smoothed over, except for the fact that high levels of Iridium were in that meteor. Iridium,
which, as we all know, is highly radioactive, andwasn't exactly the best thing for the dinosaur' health.

And thus, choking on their last breath of toxic radiation, they died.

Congratulations. You just explained the extinction of the dinosaurs in a little more than 100 words. The only one who's ever managed to do it with fewer word was my teacher:

Problem with that is that they couldn't make new herbivores. Because the plant life died due to the lack of light caused by the dust cloud, the herbivores had no food. No food means no energy, no energy means no sex, and no sex means no baby herbivores running around.

i read it somewhere before. i'd stick with meteor thing, though

And the mammals, alligators of giant size, the sea creatures, and hundreds of thousands of animals all survived but not a single dinosaur could?

Yeah, but there were supposed to be about 3 times as many mamallia rodents then dinosaurs, if that's the case even if they took less oxygen, their population sizes would have made up for some of that. Also, if it's freezing to death and all the plants are dead enough to kill Herbivore dinosaurs in mass extinction am I supposed to believe itty bitty rats could survive?

yep, they did. they're only fossils, now. i don't know if there's any living in the ocean though. the coelacanth is still living while it's supposed to be extinct.
