For example, I pitted myself agenst Sephiroth in KH1 at lvl 60. I won because of my strategy. Lady luck rly helps with it.
With aeroga and curaga, you just need fighting skills. Heal when needed, and replace aeroga only when you have 3+ bars of health. Take a hit here and there, because it helps restore MP. I gain more MP from being hit then healing.
I needed a elixer once when I screwed up agenst heartless angel ^^;;;

But yeah, the SNES was rather smooth with the game. I however think there were a few places it coulda been improved in the SNES cartridge. The remake for III on the DS, I wasn't so impressed with though... But I haven't played the GBA version, let alone the emulator, so I dunno.
