by So when I saw this Agency, a couple things ran through my head. When we tried this, we had the right idea-and we probably got some members through the missions that took place. But I had a thought.
The people of these forums, that see our advertisements, usually fall under a slim category.
-they like the forum they are at enough to stay
-they are usually RP junkies (This site is one of the less RP based out there)
This said, I wouldn't be suprised if they don't meet WOTN with much enthusiasm. Even if their curiosity is enough to join (which is usually not the case if they are satisfied with their forum to the point of regularly checking the boards and seeing our advertisements) there is a good chance they wouldn't stay, because this site isn't what they want in a Naruto RPG.
Now while this is strictly is not always true, I know it applies pretty often. I believe the answer lies in finding and hitting sites that have the kind of people that would want to be a part of WOTN. This, I believe, vaguely outlines that ideal site for us.
-Not hard-core RP based
-However has definate Naruto fandom (General Anime sites would be a bit harder)
-A larger population if not RP
-A smaller population if sliightly RP
Of course I haven't completely thought this all out, and I don't have any answers or remedies yet, but now that this idea has arisen, I will give it thought. Any ideas, suggestions, or comments about any of this? We might benefit from going this direction in a couple of advertising ventures.
