What is a Christian? Empty What is a Christian?

Post by amaterasu Thu Feb 12 2009, 21:08

What is a Christian is a underestimated question. One that many assume they know
the answer to, a question which some may have a false sense of security in.
In one poll, asked to Americans what constitutes a christian, the answer ended up being between 2% being Christian and 98% being christian in the United States of America, many people said, if you go to church, if your parents are christian, if you believe in God, or if you do good things.

Evidently there are some major problems as what a Christian is.

When I here that word I think of a cathedral or a giant church. Most Christians act like snobs, are called gay haters, racist, worst than none Christians, they claim their way is the ONLY way and that the rest are wrong.

Some people even go as far as saying that the word of God (commonly know as the bible, but I will not use that term, because bible comes from the Latin word bibla which means library, which comes from the Greek word biblos which means book) is not true but a fairy tale book of myths and legends.

To understand what a Christian is, we must search this same word of God which is accused of being false. For it is the evidence for the Chrsitian faith.

We can see if the word of God is true or not from it's prophecies that have been claimed ot be fulfilled.
No one doubts that our environment is suffering today. Global warming is a major global crisis. A solution has been kept from the grasp of Scientist for years now. But did you knwo this catastrophe was predicted?

Isaiah 24 (I will be using the new living translation)

    Verses 4-6

4 The earth mourns and dries up,
and the crops waste away and wither.
Even the greatest people on earth waste away.
5 The earth suffers for the sins of its people,
for they have twisted God’s instructions,
    violated his laws,
    and broken his everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore, a curse consumes the earth.
Its people must pay the price for their sin.
    They are destroyed by fire,
and only a few are left alive.

These verses clearly point out our global environment problems. Why is it so? because the people have sinned. The solution for GLobal Warming is to turn back to God,

    Ecclesiastes 12:13

That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.

The words of Solomon King of Israel, known as the wisest person of all time. Fear (respect) God, this is not being done today
keep his commandments. Well what are his commandments?

    Exodus 20 1-17

1 Then God gave the people all these instructions[a]:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.
3 “You must not have any other god but me.
4 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea.
5 You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.
6 But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those[b] who love me and obey my commands.
7 “You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
8 “Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
9 You have six days each week for your ordinary work,
10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you.
11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.
12 “Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
    13 “You must not murder.
14 “You must not commit adultery.
    15 “You must not steal.
16 “You must not testify falsely against your neighbor.
17 “You must not covet your neighbor’s house. You must not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor.”

These are know as the Ten Commandments. God gave them to Mose, by writing them on stone, twice in fact, the first time They smashed to the ground when Moses saw the Israelites rebel by making a golden calf.

But surely they ended at the cross!
Jesus said it is finished and so the law was gone
Even Paul said that, they have no relevance in today's world

    Jesus said in John 14:15

15 “If you love me, obey my commandments.
    and in John 15:14

4 You are my friends if you do what I command.

    1 Corinthians 9:21

21 When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.

Paul the Apostle mentioned two laws. the Jewish law, and Jesus' Law

The difference between them is this. the Jewish Law (known as the mosaic law) was given to Moses to write on paper and it was place outside the ark of the covenant and was kept to look forward to the coming of the messiah.. God's law was written in stone and placed inside the ark of the covenant and it is God's everlasting law.

The Mosaic law, not the ten commandments were ended on the cross

    Final note
    Romans 3:31 says this

31 Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.

I will be posting part two in a new post

What is a Christian? Empty Re: What is a Christian?

Post by amaterasu Thu Feb 12 2009, 21:44

So the ten commandments are still valid.

so now let me just point out some scriptural facts.

The book known today as the bible, is in fact a collection of 66 books, songs, letters, poems, and historical data.
the books range from over 40 authors and range from farmers to kings. Their dates separate by more than 1,800 years, and none of the books contradict each other.

As I said earlier we can verify the bible by it's prophecies. The book of Amos was wrtten roughly 600 years Before the Birth of Jesus
and yet he prophecied an event that happened in the 20th century.

    Amos 9:14-15

14 I will bring my exiled people of Israel
    back from distant lands,
and they will rebuild their ruined cities
    and live in them again.
    They will plant vineyards and gardens;
they will eat their crops and drink their wine.
15 I will firmly plant them there
    in their own land.
They will never again be uprooted
from the land I have given them,”
    says the Lord your God.

After world war 2. Did the United Nations not give back the Jews to their ancestral home? didn't millions of Jews migrate from every continent and many countries to go back to Israel? the prophecy by Amos was made truth in our Parents or Grand-parents Generation. Not too long ago. and it was first said more than 2500 years ago. this should confirm people that in fact the scriptures hold truth.

Now Getting to Jesus of Nazareth, the main figure in the Christian faith.

Jesus fulfilled more than 120 prophecies.
Let me illustrate the chances of 1 man fulfilling 8 prophecies.

Imagine the state of Texas covered in 2 feet deep of silver dollars. Now imagine one of those dollars is painted red, and it is placed anywhere in Texas. Now Blind fold a man and place him anywhere you want in Texas. That man must pick up the red coin on his first try and not get it wrong, and he can travel as much as he wants for as long as he wants in the state of Texas to find that coin. It is much easier to do that, than to fulfilled 8 prophecies. So if Jesus fulfilled 120 plus prophecies like IO claimed earlier, he has to be the Messiah, if not, then there could never be any messiah and the Jewish and Christian faith is the work of Satan.

    Isaiah 50:4-6

4 The Sovereign Lord has given me his words of wisdom,
so that I know how to comfort the weary.
Morning by morning he wakens me
and opens my understanding to his will.
5 The Sovereign Lord has spoken to me,
    and I have listened.
I have not rebelled or turned away.
6 I offered my back to those who beat me
and my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard.
I did not hide my face
    from mockery and spitting.

    Isaiah 52:13 - Isaiah 53:12

    13 See, my servant will prosper;
    he will be highly exalted.
14 But many were amazed when they saw him.[a]
His face was so disfigured he seemed hardly human,
and from his appearance, one would scarcely know he was a man.
15 And he will startle[b] many nations.
Kings will stand speechless in his presence.
    For they will see what they had not been told;
they will understand what they had not heard about.[c]
    Isaiah 53

1 Who has believed our message?
To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?
2 My servant grew up in the Lord’s presence like a tender green shoot,
like a root in dry ground.
There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance,
nothing to attract us to him.
3 He was despised and rejected—
a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.
We turned our backs on him and looked the other way.
He was despised, and we did not care.

    4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried;
it was our sorrows[d] that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God,
a punishment for his own sins!
5 But he was pierced for our rebellion,
    crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.
We have left God’s paths to follow our own.
Yet the Lord laid on him
    the sins of us all.

7 He was oppressed and treated harshly,
yet he never said a word.
He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.
And as a sheep is silent before the shearers,
he did not open his mouth.
    8 Unjustly condemned,
    he was led away.[e]
No one cared that he died without descendants,
that his life was cut short in midstream.[f]
    But he was struck down
for the rebellion of my people.
9 He had done no wrong
    and had never deceived anyone.
    But he was buried like a criminal;
he was put in a rich man’s grave.

10 But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him
    and cause him grief.
Yet when his life is made an offering for sin,
    he will have many descendants.
He will enjoy a long life,
and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands.
11 When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish,
    he will be satisfied.
    And because of his experience,
my righteous servant will make it possible
for many to be counted righteous,
for he will bear all their sins.
12 I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier,
because he exposed himself to death.
He was counted among the rebels.
He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.

    Isaiah 49:5-7

5 And now the Lord speaks—
the one who formed me in my mother’s womb to be his servant,
who commissioned me to bring Israel back to him.
    The Lord has honored me,
and my God has given me strength.
6 He says, “You will do more than restore the people of Israel to me.
I will make you a light to the Gentiles,
and you will bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.”

    7 The Lord, the Redeemer
    and Holy One of Israel,
says to the one who is despised and rejected by the nations,
to the one who is the servant of rulers:
“Kings will stand at attention when you pass by.
    Princes will also bow low
because of the Lord, the faithful one,
the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

    Isaiah 41:1-4

1 “Look at my servant, whom I strengthen.
He is my chosen one, who pleases me.
I have put my Spirit upon him.
He will bring justice to the nations.
    2 He will not shout
or raise his voice in public.
3 He will not crush the weakest reed
or put out a flickering candle.
He will bring justice to all who have been wronged.
4 He will not falter or lose heart
until justice prevails throughout the earth.
Even distant lands beyond the sea will wait for his instruction."

    Isaiah 9:1-7
1 Nevertheless, that time of darkness and despair will not go on forever. The land of Zebulun and Naphtali will be humbled, but there will be a time in the future when Galilee of the Gentiles, which lies along the road that runs between the Jordan and the sea, will be filled with glory.

2 The people who walk in darkness
    will see a great light.
For those who live in a land of deep darkness,
    a light will shine.
3 You will enlarge the nation of Israel,
    and its people will rejoice.
    They will rejoice before you
as people rejoice at the harvest
and like warriors dividing the plunder.
4 For you will break the yoke of their slavery
and lift the heavy burden from their shoulders.
You will break the oppressor’s rod,
just as you did when you destroyed the army of Midian.
5 The boots of the warrior
and the uniforms bloodstained by war
    will all be burned.
They will be fuel for the fire.

6 For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
    And he will be called:
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 His government and its peace
    will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David
    for all eternity.
The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
    will make this happen!

    Isaiah 7:14

14 All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’)

Isaiah lived and prophesied around 750-700 B.C. When Israel was threatened and eventually captures by Assyria and Babylon and the Jews went into exile for many years.

All the above quote are for the Messiah. Isaiah is not the only one, Daniel and Ezekiel and most prophets mention the coming of the messiah

Micah 5:2 2 But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,
are only a small village among all the people of Judah.
Yet a ruler of Israel will come from you,
one whose origins are from the distant past.

    Zechariah 9:9

9 Rejoice, O people of Zion!
Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem!
Look, your king is coming to you.
    He is righteous and victorious,[e]
yet he is humble, riding on a donkey—
    riding on a donkey’s colt.

It should be clear there are many prophecies about Jesus, and some of you may already know those he fulfilled, in my next post, I will tell you which ones Jesus fulfilled, proving without a doubt that Jesus is who he said he is and coming closer to what a christian really is

While these are all VERY valid points, it is also VERY unlikely that anyone's mind will be changed by them. Also, anyone who does not already believe what you are saying will not read these giant messages.
I'm not presenting an opinion on what you are saying, just letting you know you are in for a lot of flame.

What is a Christian? Empty Re: What is a Christian?

Post by amaterasu Thu Feb 12 2009, 22:11

Okay, so fulliment starting in Matthew 1:20-25

20But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."

22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us."

24When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

    Fulfillment of Isaiah 7:14

    Matthew 2:4-6

4When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. 5"In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written:
6" 'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
    are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'"

    Fulfillment of Micah 5:2

    Matthew 2:15
15where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."

    Fulfillment of Hosea 11:1

    Matthew 2:16-18

16When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. 17Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:
18"A voice is heard in Ramah,
    weeping and great mourning,
    Rachel weeping for her children
    and refusing to be comforted,
    because they are no more."

    Fulfilling Jeremiah 31:15

    Matthew 3:1-3

1In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea 2and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." 3This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
"A voice of one calling in the desert,
'Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.' "

    Fulfilling Isaiah 40:3

    Matthew 4:12-17

2When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he returned to Galilee. 13Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali— 14to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:
15"Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,
the way to the sea, along the Jordan,
    Galilee of the Gentiles—
    16the people living in darkness
    have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of the shadow of death
    a light has dawned."

17From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

    fulfilling Isaiah 9:1-2

    Matthew 8:14-17

14When Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw Peter's mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.

16When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. 17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
    "He took up our infirmities
    and carried our diseases."

    Fulfilling Isaiah 53:4

    Matthew 12:15-21

5Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Many followed him, and he healed all their sick, 16warning them not to tell who he was. 17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
18"Here is my servant whom I have chosen,
    the one I love, in whom I delight;
I will put my Spirit on him,
and he will proclaim justice to the nations.
    19He will not quarrel or cry out;
no one will hear his voice in the streets.
20A bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out,
till he leads justice to victory.
21In his name the nations will put their hope."

    Fulfilling Isaiah 42:1-4

    Matthew 13:11-15

11He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 13This is why I speak to them in parables:
    "Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
    " 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
    15For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
    hear with their ears,
    understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.'

    Fulfilling Isaiah 6:9-10

    Mathew 13:34-35

34Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. 35So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:
"I will open my mouth in parables,
I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world."

    Fulfilling Psalms 78:2

    Matthew 15:3-9

3Jesus replied, "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4For God said, 'Honor your father and mother' and 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.' 5But you say that if a man says to his father or mother, 'Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is a gift devoted to God,' 6he is not to 'honor his father' with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. 7You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8" 'These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
    9They worship me in vain;
their teachings are but rules taught by men.'"

    Fulfilling Isaiah 29:13

    Matthew 21:1-5

1As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away."

4This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:
5"Say to the Daughter of Zion,
'See, your king comes to you,
gentle and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.' "

Fulfilling Isaiah 62:11 and Jechariah 9:9

    Matthew 21:9

9The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
"Hosanna to the Son of David!"
"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"
    "Hosanna in the highest!"

Fulfilling Psalms 118:25-36 and Psalms 148:1

    Matthew 21:13-17
13"It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"

14The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. 15But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant.

16"Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him.
"Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read,
" 'From the lips of children and infants
    you have ordained praise'?"

17And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.

Fulfilling Isaiah 56:7 and Jeremiah 7:11 and Psalms 8:2

    Matthew 26:31

1Then Jesus told them, "This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written:
" 'I will strike the shepherd,
and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'

    Fulfilling Zechariah 13:7

    Matthew 27:9-10

9Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: "They took the thirty silver coins, the price set on him by the people of Israel, 10and they used them to buy the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me."

Fulfilling Jeremiah 32:6-9 and Zechariah 11:12-13

and all through Jesus' Trial and death can we see the fulfillment of Isaiah 52:13 to Isaiah 53:12

These predictions and their fulfillment show that Jesus is who he said he was, my next post will wrap things up

What is a Christian? Empty Re: What is a Christian?

Post by amaterasu Thu Feb 12 2009, 22:35

    How then is one saved?

    Romans 10:9-10

9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

    1 John 1:7-9

7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? (romans 6:1-2)

23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23)

23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Everyone of us has broken God's law, then ten commandments. As shown in Romans 3:23. Our penalty for breaking the commandments is death see Romans 6:23

and as shown from the verses from 1 John 1 if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and forgives us from all unrighteousness. and in Romans 10:9-10 we read That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

    1 John 2:3-4

3We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

After believing and confessing and being saved, and forgiven, you must follow.

    1 John 2:6

6Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

    1 John 5:10-12

10Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son.
11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Accepting Jesus as Savior and believing full-heatedly in his resurrection and sacrifice for you. By putting your faith into Jesus, you are saved. After you are saved, we follow God with Love love God love your neighbor with God's commandments in you. Trust then follow. That is what makes you a christian.

    Christian --> Christ ian

Disciple of Jesus of Nazareth who is called the Christ.

In the end, those who are true Christians are not people who go to church, nor do good deeds, or anything like that, a Christian is a disciple of Jesus of Nazareth who has put his/her faith into Jesus, and obeys his commandments.

Hopefully this has cleared some things up, I hope it has,

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness (Matthew 7:21-23)

Please take a look at your life if you assume you are saved, and make sure that you are going to heaven with a 100% confidence

Don't end up as those people in that verse above.

and if you are not saved, please look at the cross and what Jesus did, and decide if you want and believe what he offers.

I would like to end this off with two verses

    Hosea 4:6

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
    Because you have rejected knowledge,
    I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.

    Psalms 14:1

1 The fool has said in his heart,
    “There is no God.”
    They are corrupt,
    They have done abominable works,
There is none who does good.

Please look at your life, and make the decision for Christ, his time of Judgment is upon us, no more time will be giving, I will show in another thread how far we are in revelations and how close we are to the Lord's judgment

I would have read that, honestly and truly, but for the sake of my own depleted brain and attention span (which lasts for like...3 minutes at most), and I'm really busy trying to find my run away friend.

If you were asking for my opinion on what a Christian is, I would say:

"A Christian is someone who believes in and loves God, and who won't give into the nutso cults that have false love for God. A Christian is someone who when they sin, they ask for forgivness and move on in life. They're a wide genre of people, but yet, they are also a respected genre."

no, I am not, and although I fail horribly at this, I try to stay away from Revelations. I was able to study it, and it is cool, end is almost here and all that good stuff, but the Love of Jesus Christ, and the actually way he changes lives and all that he does is so much greater

although I do admit to posting that the law is summed up in Love God and Love your neighbor.
