Pushing People off Planes

There are 500 people on a continental plane. No one wants to die, they're all selfish. If one person does not jump off, all 500 people on the plane are going to crash into the ocean and die.

How do you decide who to push off the plane? [There is NO other alternative to prevent the crash]

I know this is extremely unmoralistic to be thinking of how you would choose how to murder. The topic came up though and I have to debate it so I have to know how anyone could decide.

But, what if it was an eight year old child who got the short end?

I say the oldest passenger with no children goes. I apologize if that was harsh but just my logical 2 cents

o.O this matter could easily be solved by chucking out the stuff in the cargo area

If you started pulling exceptions like that, you'd wind up with no one eligible to go. You could exclude the children, but what constitutes a child? Is a 19 year old a child still, or considered an adult? What about infirm or elderly people with great grandkids if there are no other options?

The water pango Gods want a sacrifice. Unless they get one human sacrifice, they will use their eater vapor power and crash the plane.

easiest way to decide who to push off is decide who the 2 weakest people are and then flip a coin to see who should be pushed off.
