I don't hate Christianity and I'm an atheist, I do hate when people use Christianity to justify violence or bigotry, but I don't hate it as an entity. I just don't believe in it, and I'd like to make the same statement to you that I made to blood-soaked-angel, broad sweeping statements about an entire group of people are just wrong. I'm assuming you were just caught up in the moment, or it was some type of a typo, because I expect better than that out of you otherwise my friend.

I wasn't talking about you. But I get statements like this all the time. I was illustrating a point, a point you can hardly deny has some credibility am I right Sado? I was using Teikiatsu to exemplify something I see a lot of in both today's culture but even here online.
If it applies to you, you know it does, and if it doesn't, it's quite clear it doesn't. You either somewhat get what Teikiatsu was saying, or are with the rest of us and see it as ludicrous. For you see, my statement really wasn't at you.
I reffered to people like Teikiatsu only. Don't take offense, don't even waste your time defending yourself Sado. There was no typo, because I made no sweeping statement. I said people who tolerate all other views and tell us to tolerate Homosexuality, tolerate all other religions, and tolerate all other races, and then make statements like this about Christianity are complete hypocrites. If you disagree with that, feel free to try and defend it. But I didn't say "All atheists", "All non believers", "Today's people". So I can't see how it would be sweeping. Or do you disagree? Do you think those who tell us to tolerate everything but are completely intolerant and discriminatory to Christians are right?

All I required was clarification on the word they, which can mean anything without said clarification. In the context of the thread I read it as "all non-christians," which was and is an easy mistake to make.

Ok. I guess I could see how that was a Non Christian sweep? But it was nowhere really in the context of my post that I meant Non Christians. And I have more then clarified my position on this.

No problem dear man, I just wanted to be sure we knew I wasn't making broad Sweeping Statements. In fact, I was quite specific with who I was attacking I'd say.

I have no real take on that Division. I feel my duty is to love on people regardless.

Because being a Christian is reliant on having a relationship with Christ. As amaterasu has pointed out on millions of occasions. I used the wrong word when I said Devout.

Well that's what you do Amaterasu. But I don't know about any Catholic and I know my Baptist Church doesn't believe that. What I do know, is that I am a follower of Christ, a proud member of the Christian Faith, and I am well aware that Christianity is just one of a myraid of religions. But, unlike most religions Christianity has it's differences that set's it world's apart.
