i took this from NMR...but i like it...
If you have been in
the theories section long, you will have seen plenty of theories and
would have realize that kishi always go back to Asian mythology. So to
figure out what's next, dont look to far from old Asian folk tales.
*Kitsune are fox spirits
How does the kyuubi affect a young Naruto?
1. Kitsune are often presented as tricksters, with motives that vary from mischief to malevolence
-Chapter 1 we see naruto making fun of the hokages and creating graffiti on them
2.A
kitsune may take on human form, an ability learned when it reaches a
certain age — usually 100 years, although some tales say 50.[13] As a
common prerequisite for the transformation, the fox must place reeds, a
broad leaf, or a skull over its head.[16] Common forms assumed by
kitsune include beautiful women, young girls, or elderly men. These
shapes are not limited by the fox's age or gender,[5] and a kitsune can
duplicate the appearance of a specific person.[17] Foxes are
particularly renowned for impersonating beautiful women. Common belief
in medieval Japan was that any woman encountered alone, especially at
dusk or night, could be a fox.[18]
-Hmm...seems familiar, what was the jutsu that Naruto created himself? O.. that's right ...the "sexy jutsu"
Now your interested, how will this affect him in the future?
Well first let's look at a page from the Naruto manga

And now the kitsune
There
are two common classifications of kitsune. The myōbu are benevolent,
celestial foxes associated with Inari; they are sometimes simply called
Inari foxes. On the other hand, the wild nogitsune (野狐) (literally,
field foxes) tend to be mischievous or even malicious
While some
folktales speak of kitsune employing this ability to trick others — as
foxes in folklore often do — others portray them as faithful guardians,
friends, lovers, and wives.
--We see that there are two sides to
the kyuubi, the ying and the yang. Perhaps the kyuubi we are seeing is
a result of an overflow of the yin chakra(dark), and the yang is what
Naruto is using now. What we might see, if Naruto masters the kyuubi's
chakra and fuses it with his own, is a different fox. The last part of
the excerpt reinforces Naruto's role of friendship and the guardian of
the village (hokage) and what we can expect from him, he might just
prove the be a force to be reckoned with.
This leads to another revelation
Foxes
and human beings lived in close proximity in ancient Japan; this
companionship gave rise to legends about the creatures. Kitsune have
become closely associated with Inari, a Shinto kami or spirit, and
serve as his messengers. This role has reinforced the fox's
supernatural significance. The more tails a kitsune has — they may have
as many as nine — the older, wiser, and more powerful it is. Because of
their potential power and influence, some people make offerings to them
as to a deity.
When a kitsune gains its ninth tail, its fur
becomes white or gold.[12] These kyūbi no kitsune (nine-tailed foxes)
gain the abilities to see and hear anything happening anywhere in the
world. Other tales attribute them infinite wisdom
Other
supernatural abilities commonly attributed to the kitsune include
possession, mouths or tails that generate fire or lightning (known as
kitsune-bi; literally, fox-fire), willful manifestation in the dreams
of others, flight, invisibility, and the creation of illusions so
elaborate as to be almost indistinguishable from reality.[20][16] Some
tales speak of kitsune with even greater powers, able to bend time and
space, drive people mad, or take fantastic shapes such as a tree of
incredible height or a second moon in the sky
----Basically, the
kitsune is referred as a "god" and its power of influence and idea of
friendship gives a strong resemblence to Naruto, just watch the last
Shippuuden episode when Gaara is revived. Also, the idea of "god" has
just recently entered the Naruto universe with Pein. What does this
mean for Naruto? Will this mean that there will be eventually a
showdown of the Gods? This can only happen if Jiraiya dies in combat,
and Naruto is pushed to the limit; thus, forces him to step it up and
master the abilities of kyuubi. And with the abilities described above
with being able to bend time and space, drive people mad, take shapes,
and create illusions sound a lot like some of the abilities sharingan
possesses. How is the Nine tails and the Uchiha related? How does the
nine tails know Madara? Will Sasuke assist Naruto in the showdown of
the Gods? Only time will tell.
