Hm, well the thing is because it's in another language, subbers add words to it which changes the original product from it's original state, meaning you're no longer stealing it's original property...Thus, I have heard it say it's not illegal.
That's why websites like One Manga were allowed to stay up for so long. Because they had edited editions of Mangas and weren't breaking the law...And most streaming websites stay up by streaming the anime through another source, and since they aren't hosting it it's not illegal...
And that's about all I know. I just don't want the FBI to come break in and take me down because I had to download a lot of One Piece to make this avatar.
