"Great, just what we need, an acid spitting bat." Jay said unsure what to do next.
"Keh heh heh, not so big-mouthed as before now, huh, boy?" Kerosis said readying a mouth-full of acid. Just as Jay is ready to evade, a big black glob in the shape of a hand ascended from the shadow of Kerosis and grabs the bat demon by the mouth and puts a firm grip around it. Kerosis couldn't keep the deadly liquid in his mouth any longer and the hand is still keeping its grip tight around his mouth.
"Now's your chance, Jay." Zergio said with his hand out at the shadow, controlling it effortlessly.
"Alright!" Jay said sending a fierce shock of electricity through the chains directly at Kerosis. The attack shocks Kerosis with many volts, making him fall to the ground with burns almost all over his body. Jay walked over to the defeated bat demon to unwrap the chain around Kerosis's scrawny leg and Zergio releases the shadow off of Zerosis's corpse. After Jay was able to get the chains off, Zerosis lets of a startling screech that rings in Jay and Zergio's ears. They plung their ears once again, trying to endure the harsh sounds.
"Gah, didn't we kill him!?" Jay shouted, irritated that the cacophony hasn't stop yet. Suddenly, it did stop. Silence overtakes. Jay and Zergio stares at the body in surprise. How is he still able to do that when he was suppose to be dead?
Just when their unusual victory couldn't get any more hectic, a group of bat demons started to fly right from the dusk-covered treetops, directly at Jay and Zergio. Jay gulps.
"Um, run?" he suggested.
"Sure, why not?" Zergio said dashing off already.
"Hey! Get back here!!" Jay said in anger running behind him.
"You jerk you actually left me for dead!! What kind of brother leaves his younger brother for dead!?"
"Just shut up and run, idiot!
"I'm not an idiot so stop calling me one, Gio!!"
"Zergio!!"

Toshii and Nina still trudge on the dirt path through the dark and mysterious forest they have been in all day. For some odd reason they haven't seen any animals ever since they entered this darker part of the forest which it very unusual. It made Toshii worry.
"Nina, have you noticed there's no birds singing or animals roaming?" Toshii asked.
"Yes, I'm getting a mysterious feeling as well ever since walked into his part of the forest." Nina answered back.
"Hmm...let's stop for a bit." Toshii said setting her bag by a large rock, sits on top of it and takes out the map.
"We're still in the forest but we're on the right path to get out of here."
"I see, then how close are we to the Orbs?"
"Um.......less than one sixteenth." Toshii replied with a sweatdrop and then a sigh. Nina did the same as she sits on the rock as well next to her friend.
"It's going to be a long one."
"Yeah, no kidding." Toshii looked up at the trees covering the sun and sky. Without sunlight, this forest seems dead and lifeless. Like nighttime never leaves and morning never comes. How dreadful and depressing the air is and the ambience is very mischevious.
"T-chan! Look!" Nina alarmed Toshii pointing ahead to a huge, tan dust cloud coming their way. Overhead the dust cloud is a group of big furry creatures with wings.
"What is it?" Toshii said jumping off the rock, grabbing her bag. Shelooked more closely and in front of the dust cloud are 2 boys running as fast as they can. One with brown hair and blue eyes, the other with light purple hair and blue eyes. And right behind them are giant bats!
"2 boys and giant bats?" Toshii said confused look.
"That's really odd." Nina said sweatdropping.
"Kepp running, Gio!!" Jay called out running faster.
"Zergio!! And don't you think I know that!?" Zergio shouted out going way faster than him.
"Maybe you should take your own advice!!"
"What was that!?" Jay said obviously angry.
But just as they pass right by Nina and Toshii, They trip over a large tree branch and lands flat on their faces and afterwards put their hands over their head in fear.
"This is the end of the road Gio!!"
"Zergio!!"
"They're odd..." Toshii commented.
"Truly..." Nina agreed.
"Say Nina, maybe we should take care of these bat freaks for them."
"Hm, fine by me."
Toshii creates a flame in here hand that started to grow bigger and bigger and Nina put her hand in from of her mouth just as a ball of snow started forming in the palm of her hand.
Toshii shoots a fireball from her hand at half the group of bat demons, burning then into ashes. Then Nina blew the ball of snow and ice into a large icy wind that chills and eventually freezes the other half of the bat demons and they crumble into bits of ice.
Jay and Zergio still cower and looks up to see that they weren't puddles of acid.
"Umm...weren't we suppose to be melted or something?"
"No, I think we were saved."
"And you were!" Toshii exclaimed and was in front of them.
"Eh, who are you?" Jay asked, kind of not caring.
"Toshii Tesuki."
"And I'm Nina Kuroda." Nina joined as she walked by Toshii's side.
"You know, you guys can get your faces out the mud."
"Whatever." Jay said sitting up, wiping the dirt off his face and Zergio did the same thing.
"So who are you two?" Toshii asked.
"Zergio. And this is my little brother, Jay."
"I can address myself you know!" Jay complained.
"But I can't get my mind off it..." Zergio pondered.
"What's that?" Nina asked.
"I felt like I've forgotten something."
"We have!!" Jay exclaimed.
"What's with you?" Toshii said.
"Our map!! It was eaten by that bat thing!" Jay shouted, very upset that he and his brother no longer have a map to guide them to the orbs.
"Darn it." Zergio said looking down.
"Hm, what a shame." Toshii said carelessly since she was too busy studying the map.
"Huh? Hey, is that a map?" Jay said noticing the map in Toshii's hands.
"Yeah, why?" Toshii said turning around. The map is suddenly snatched away out of her hands.
"What!?" she said in shock. Then she looks up to see Jay with the map with gleaming eyes of hope. Toshii's expression turned into pure anger.
"Gio! We finally have a map, again!" Jay said with glee.
"...You're an idiot." Zergio said looking straight past Jay at the angry Toshii behind him.
"Eh?"
"Just hold on a second!" Toshii shouted out kicking Jay in the back, sending him flying face first into a tree. Jay rubs hid whole face as it was in pain and soon his expression became pure anger.
"Gaah!! Why the heck did you do that!?" Jay screamed angrily at Toshii.
"Because you took our map, idiot!!" Toshii countered back.
"I'm not an idiot!!"
Zergio and Nina restrains the two from fighting each other themselves and just sighs while Jay and Toshii continue to argue with each other.

"So you two are looking for one of the orbs as well?" Zergio asked.
"Yes, Toshii recieved the map from a person and was inspired to go search for them." Nina replied, munching on a pocky stick.
"Mhm!" Toshii said cheerfully, trying to set up a place for some fire.
"I want the Kaji Orb and Nina wants the Mizu Orb."
"I see. As for me, I want the Kuro Orb. Jay here wants the Raiki Orb. So, I was wondering if we could travel together since our map, unfortunately, was lost." Zergio asked somewhat as a plead. Jay scoffs at the request.
"Sure!" Toshii said willingly.
"The more the merrier!"
"Thank you." Zergio said giving a small smile.
And according to the map, it says that the orbs were leading that way." Toshii said pointing northeast.
"So...you were reading the map wrong, eh, Gio?" Jay said to his brother, clearly irritated.
"Shut up." Zergio retorted.
"At least we have help, now."

"So how's the progress of the new weapons?" A dark and mysterious voice said in the darkness of a throne room. A spotlight is illuminating over a dark crimson haired woman in a lavender lab coat. She pushes up her glasses as she opens a file folder with many papers and information.
"Yes, it seems the progress of the weapons seems to be very successful. However, there are some drawbacks which we are working on currently. And the children you have talked about are being pursued by a couple of our henchmen as we speak, but only as a test. If they come back with the children within the next 4 days then the weapons are successful, if not and never returns then they are either dead from the weapons or from confronting the kids, which is highly unlikely." She reported.
"Hmm..." The figure said sounding very interested.
"Good job, Clairvoyant Disease. But, make sure you keep a close eyes on those kids. They seem very interesting, especially this Toshii."
"Thank you, Master. Shall we get more information on this girl?"
"That would be most grateful. You are dismissed." She bowed and started walking out the room, feeling uneasy since she remembers the last time he has been interested in someone.
"Geez, Bano owes me big time for this, I hate that guy." Clair mumbles under her breath in disgust.
