hmm, i don't really know, i was thinking his adventures before becoming kage then when he is kage, and how he dies protecting the village

Naruto=Fourth Hokage's son

Gaara=Kazekage/Died/Came back
Naruto=Genin... I am sure that Naruto will become Hokage and then die, like Gaara... But unlike Gaara, he's dead/permanent...

Depends. If it's about the main "point" it's Sasukes wish to kill Itachi that keeps the series going.

If the point would have been Naruto wants to be Hokage, the plot would more likely have been closer to what the original manga was like, team 7 going on missions and gaining power.
If the point would have been Naruto-The destined child it woild have been said erlier, and not 8 years after the beginning. I'm not saying it's unimportant, it's probaly the most important thing so far, it's just that if Sasuke hadn't left, Jiraiya would never have died, and never realized Naruto is the destined one.

IF Naruto died thát would be likely. Naruto is important to Sasuke, even more important than killing Itachi. Sasuke was ready to sacrifice everything he had fought for since his family died to save Naruto when they met Haku. I belive that if Naruto died Sasuke would become Hokage just to make sure Narutos dreams, fights and hard work wouldn't have been for nothing - Sasuke is saved, and Sasuke is Hokage instead of Naruto.
