The sun was just coming up over the edge of the mountain as the Yamakage welcomed his old friend the Kazekage with a outstretched arm and a warm handshake. They both wore the traditional kage robes, the Yamakage in green and the Kazekage in nice solid orange. They stood at the entrance of a small cave. One of few ways into the hidden mountain village.
“You may want to step back a bit sir.” The guard on the left hand side of the cave entrance spoke to the Kazekage.
The two guards waited for Bano and Q to step back from the cave and then they faced the mountain side. Thrusting there fists into the wall, the flow of energy around them began to pick up as The stone and earth started to shift and shake and the ground lifted up and sealed off the entrance way to the cave as if it was never there. “Ah, AMP. You have learned to move the earth itself.” Q commented as the guards returned to there original position standing watch over the hidden door way.
“It's no different then you with fire.” Bano replied.
“I don't have a wall of fire to keep my village safe.” Q paused to consider the possibility. “Do you think a wall of fire would hurt a giant scorpion?” he muttered to himself shrugging and moving on the next subject giving Bano no time to reply. “Always this chilly?” he rubbed his arms trying to warm himself up.
“It's not that bad. You're just to used to desert heat.” Bano laughed.
Q on the other hand did not hear him, he was to busy with the chill and scanning the village his old friend had built and now so many called home. He felt a inner warmth, another plan of his was a success. Just as he wanted, a seventh village had survived it's early days and now stood strong. “Amazing” He took a deep breath of air into his lungs.
“It is now!” Bano nodded in agreement. “But, it was not always like this.” He put a hand on Q's shoulder and guided Q with his finger. “You see we have different levels, there is the ground level and then the higher level.” Q's eyes followed as Bano talked. He saw that the ground level was full of decent sized buildings and the upper part were smaller buildings that seemed to be apart of the mountain side that rose above the village. The high walls were perfect for a defense. “The upper levels are the homes and guard towers. Then you have the shops and other stuff like that, here, on the ground level.” Bano finished with a smile.
“What about the Kage Palace?” The Kazekage questioned.
“Underground.” Bano pointed to the earth. “You can only get there by AMP. or outright attacking the earth for days. It makes for a wonderful place for the civilians bunker as well.”
Q was truly amazed by the village and the young kages work. He had turned a small group of refugees into a something so much more. In his amazement he had almost forgot why he had come to the village. He pulled out a small piece of paper from under his robe. “I need you to sign this.” He told Bano handing him the paper.
“What is it?” he asked.
“Nothing much.” Q shrugged. “Things are boring as they are right now, I want a war, kages must give there consent.”
“War? With who?” Bano questioned with a confused look.
“ Everyone. It wont be your normal war or anything. It will be a organized war between the clans. No one village may invade another with the intent to bring harm to any ninja outside that villages clan. So, a clan war.”
Bano looked over the paper, a line for each kage to sign. So far the only name was the Kazekage.
“Does not look like you are getting much luck?” He asked Q.
“Na, your my first stop, I thought you would love to kick start this idea with me.” Q shrugged with a Sparkle in his eyes that said he would get what he wanted even if some of the villages did sit out.
“Fine, if you win a fight with me, I will sign it happily. Come with me.”
Bano took Q to an underground arena where he removed his hat and robe. Q followed suit with the robe but kept the hat. “makes me cook cool” he pointed out. Both kages took a moment to stretch there muscles along with warming up there AMP, Bano playing with the earth throwing it around. Q with fire. “Can't you do fire?” Q asked.
“Worried that your out gunned?”
Q just shook his head and smiled. “The more you got, the better the fight”
“Sorry to disappoint then, No. When I left sand I focused more on the earth. Can't control fire anymore. Don't know why.” He shrugged.
Q's head slowly sank until Bano could not see his face anymore but he could feel Q's AMP level increase by ten fold and the air in the arena grew hotter with it. “I'm going to make you remember the raw power of fire.” Q's head shoot back up and his look had changed from before into a intense serious twisted smile. His left arm slowly turned to fire until it was engulfed by it. The heat of the air stung the Yamakage's eyes as he tried to level off his AMP energy with the Kazekage's.
“I wish I could forget” Bano said with a worried laugh holding his arms in front of his face trying to block the heat. “Come on then!” He added with a grunt as the Kazekage came rushing in for the first attack.
