    serious! Empty serious!

    Post by GL

    hellu hellu all wotn people out there!

    today i will talk about a pretty serious thing, cancer. thats right, its mabye not the funniest thing to talk or read about, but whatever! (:
    so, i was cleaning my room and i found my pink ribbon from the breast cancer foundation. i would never have imagined i would have been buying a ribbon, but when my mum got breast cancer i wanted to.

    i remember it clearly, dad told me mum was in hospital and that she got a "bump" in her breast. i didnt understand how serious it was becasue i was young, but now i understand. this is not the first time that someone in my family have gotten cancer, so it can be genitic.

    so, the main reason why i talk about this is becasue i want more people to support all kinds of cancer foundations! i dont tell you this just becasue im scared to die, but there are a lot of kids and adults that are scared too. so if you ever get the chance, please do like me and support the cancer foundations! because who knows, mabye someone you love will get it too?

    hugs and kisses;

    - GL

    My mom had breast cancer when I was only in second grade. I had no idea what it was, I just knew my mom was bald so I drew a globe on her head in marker. But then I was scared I had given her a tattoo that would never go away. (Thinks this is partially where my fear of tattoos and even temporary tattoos comes from)

    That and my mom laid down a lot, so everyone in the neighborhood cooked food for us. But literally, people knew how to make only one fodo! Lasagna! It was like, Lasagna every day and night for almost 6 months or something. It was 'orribleeeee!

    But anyway, I agree~ I support the American Foundation Pink ribbon thingy myself!

    Well, you probably can't change the fact that you might get cancer cause there isn't really anyway to stop it. You just have to be aware of it when you do get it.
