Using your examples - homosexuality is only a sin in Christian religions (and a few others). I, just like many other people, do not consider it one. It isn't really considered a freedom like you said (but for a different reason). It's just what some people chose to do - how they chose to live. It most certainly does have advantages, by the way. What if you don't want children?? Don't have sex?? Most people do not die as virgins.

Doing what you want doesn't mean you think you are the god of yourself. Why do we all have to be slaves of something?? Can't we have even parts of the things we like (and the things we don't like - work etc) in our lives??

As for standing up for the truth... Everybody has different truths. For example Jesus is your truth. He's not mine. So people stand up for what they believe in.

First off is on what if people don't want kids, My sister doesn't want kids, she is marrying a man, they will have sex (and for a sibling that is something I cannot and never will imagine), not wanting kids means nothing because there are gay couples who want kids so they adopt or something
