Hard Times

People from all walks of life
We all have problems and strife
We are all forced to overcome,
But we are all left with some,
Because we have to live on
We have to overcome them before we're gone

We all lose things we've loved
Some of those memories are shoved
Into the back of our mind,
And forgotten in time
We lose all sense of the problem
Some times we completely forget them

Some of those hard times stay with us,
Forever we live on with these memories we must,
We all tried to get help
But stuck with the cards we are dealt
The recurring pain is forever painful
Even though we all were careful

Some we overcome but are left
With thosae past memories of ourself
Trying and trying to forget
But the outcome was already set
Now the time has come
To face that outcome

Are you ready to make it change
Some people say its just out of their range
But some keep going and going
To overcome is what we're pursueing
Those bad memories had past
But the memory still lives on like a discarded cast

Now those memories are behind,
Us the past life we're assigned
But we must live on and we do
We all must start a new leaf,a new
A new day with new,
Memories starting with the morning dew

Pretty deep.
And motivating!
Makes me wanna get up and go kick some ass!
