Good, bad, horrible?

FEAR.
It is the place we go,
when all bad things make us woe.
It is the stranger in the shadows,
the serial killer, an unimaginable foe.
It makes up delusional, makes us helpless,
turns all our courage into cowardice.
It is the evil of the night,
the bats, the devils, the ghouls as they take flight.
It will grip you, overwhelm you, and make you tremble,
singing an omnious tempo.
It may just be a four letter word,
but it attacks us all; Wildebeest being struck in herds.
It corrupts our minds, takes away our common sense,
it fares well against every defense.
Fear is deep inside us all,
and it will stay there,
laughing and pointing,
whenever you fall.
