True, but that's not just rap, either.

Rock And Roll has lyrics that are just as bad at times.

And if you say "but not as bad as rap" well that depends on what you listen to.

And if you say "I don't listen to that stuff" and I don't listen to that kind of rap.

yeah... thanks.... i shouldn't have started.... but i don't listen to anything that has lyrics that degrate women or anything like that... i prefer songs that relate to real life and experiences

I can agree with you on that point, lightning mist. And if I hear filthy lyrics I also turn it off.

But saying that you listen to rock and love it then saying rap is trash for those reasons, is not really fair.

Yeah I hate that too >.< I'm like "Bleeding at the ears here!" I like screamo and metal and Marilyn Manson (doesn't know where to put him), but not stuff that just SCREAMS.

Q: Yeah, but notice that I said that the rock that comes right out and says that stuff gets on my nerves too. I don't mind rap or rock when they have the HIDDEN MEANINGS. It means the artist has a way with words.

Metal's main focus is the instrumentals, mainly the guitar. Good lyrics are a nice plus but not necessary.

I like Techno, rock, R+B and random japanese music

I love LM.C, Nightmare, Maximum the Hormone, and Gackt for my Japanese music.

I don't listen to music I can't understand so I definitely don't listen to Japanese music...or Chinese or Mexican Or whatever unless I translate it.

I don't listen to a lot of foreign language music. I don't mind German and Japanese and Mexican, but other than that I'm okay.

I always thought Avril Lavinge was a poser. But that's just me. I do like her song "Nobody's Home" though.

I normally like rap, but not pointless rap. You know, the kind that sings about one orgasm or that one time when they had sex with that one prostitute for 12 cookies. Yeah, it's just annoying.
