Once in love[Written when i was 13,just found :D]

I was young and anxtious
He was sweet and nieve
He asked me to be his
a dreaful cold nights' eve.
I leaped into his arms and shouted
"yes, yes, yes!"
He told me not to tell
That a secret would be best
He never said he loved me
He never held my hand
He never knew the way I felt
When I was once in love
I could not wait no longer
I told my dearest friend
The next day when I entered
I felt my life wuold end
The whole world knew our secret
How, I did not care
I tried to say "I'm sorry"
But he was never there
He could not take the pressure
He needed to get away
He told me that in sequence
On the last remembered day
He never said he loved me
He never held my hand
He never knew the way I felt
When I was once in love
The next great year it happend
He felt for me again
He said that he was sorry
He had not wanted it to end
He said that he still liked me
And if I would give him a chance
He'd try to make it up to me
And then take me to the dance
Then when the dance grew nearer
He wanted something more
He wanted a better woman
And he asked her, nothing more
He never said he loved me
He never held my hand
He never knew the way I felt
When I was once in love
He left me that horrible night
Without a word or sound
He left no note, no message
Only for me to figure out
He told her that he loved her
He wanted her to hold
He kept so close beside her
She never knew hte cold
My heart was then so broken
I cried for months and months
He never said "I'm sorry"
He didn't care that much
He never said he loved me
He never held my hand
He never knew the way I felt
