what if anime didn't exist

If Anime didn't exist I wouldn't of spent over 200 hours in the last month and a half watching One Piece. What a waste of time that would of been otherwise.

I actually replied to this thread. And I stand by my answer from the first page.

if anime didnt exist...id spent my time with...more books...id be...bored more...i think i wouldnt know wat it was so i wouldnt be depressed or anything..just bored...

If anime didn't exist, I'd be so bored all the time Anime's all I pretty much watch now a days.

If anime didn't exist...well it depends. If it didn't exist EVER, then I wouldn't care, right? And then, I'd probably spend less time on the computer, more time doing homeowork or reading. Women would also have no anime men to drool over DDDD: This site wouldn't exist...which would suck, because then all of the great people here, wouldn't be my friends D:
If it stopped existing, the site would stop existing, then I'd miss my friends...I would miss Naruto, Bleach, Ouran, and even One Piece a little xD I would also spend more time on homework, and reading, or socializing, since Gaia'd be REALLY boring.

I'd die of serious boredom... My life would feel like purgatory with people... MAN, This is bumming me out, I just can't cope with the thought of no Bleach.

If anime didn't exist we wouldn't have this topic we wouldn't have the knowledge we have and the anime geek banishment label wouldn't have made me who I am. Im not saying the label is a bad thing...other people do but I'm proud to be an anime geek and a school outcast.

I'd be a much meaner person, and not very respectful of a lot of
people. Likely I'd be smarter, spending much more time reading that
spending it on sites with people I do not know.
I'd offend a lot more people, and I'd be far less passive. I wouldn't be so defending of things I am not. And, chances are, by now, I'd have been dead, seeing as it's my passive tendencies that have kept me alive.

anime had that much of an impact on your life?

Aye, it did. It evoked emotions, thoughts, and feelings that I didn't feel from natural occurrences. However, it is a catalyst, anime itself didn't cause my transformation, but the results of my having watched it caused a chain of events, that have resulted in the Poe that is known so well on this site.

In fact, I credit much of my existence, to Sailor Moon. Due to that, I have experienced much. It led to my being on the internet, and in a place where I could talk to people. This led to my first girlfriend, which, although ended horribly, it made me a better person through the experience. This led me to be more open in certain areas of my life, to certain people. Which invited me the opportunity to meet new people, and experience new things. I matured, through this process, and became a nicer person because of it. It has caused me much grief, but much pleasure at the same time.

However, despite it's impact, it could be argued that I could have ended up this way though various other means, but the fact remains, that anime does exist, and reflecting on my past reactions, I could very well have reacted rather violently to a situation, that may have required a more passive solution. I have changed much, and again, I thank the anime above, and it's why, I still hold it so close to me. Despite the mocking I have, and will receive for watching such a shoujo material.

If anime didn't exist, my imagination wouldn't exist. The extreme variety and originality of anime has inspired some of my most brilliant ideas. I probably be as boring and uncultured as everyone else in my family.

And speaking of, they are planning on doing a redub of the show. To clean up some of the mistakes that was made in the 1995 release in the states. Things such as the fact that Uranus and Neptune were actually lovers, not cousins. Or perhaps that Zoicite and Kunzite, in the original, were both male. They just made, I believe Zoicite, female, because of how much more feminine he was to begin with. The list goes on with names changed, etc...

The creator of Sailor Moon, and it's sister Sailor V, which was going to be turned into an anime / manga as well, but it was cancelled, so it didn't happen.
