Oh thats really cool.
I can't afford to buy my own cosplay :(
I'm definatly gonna try and make one though, cause if my friends can make theres, I should be able to make mine too, I mean its worth a try haha.

But thats why I'm gonna start off simple. I think for Nyu from EL, I have most of the costume already, all I need is the pink wig :P cause theres no way I'd colour my hair pink any colour BUT pink :P

I would make my own costume but i dont have a sewing machine.

I don't either, but my friends took art and textiles for their chosen subjects, so its kind of compulsary to have one, so I'll just go and steal theirs.

Although I think with certain cosplays I might be able to get away with wearing normal clothes, as long as I make it look the same as the character I'm cosplaying. I think the hardest part is always finding the shoes! I mean if I cosplayed someone in Naruto, I wouldn't know what to do for the sandles haha.

For my friends cosplay b-day party i dressed up as Shikamaru in normal cloths, L from DN and the girls got to stay for the sleepover so I dressed up as Near from DN.

Aww! A cosplay birthday party. That sounds so cool!

Just a shame all my best friends don't like anime :(

I mean, they don't mind Spirited Away or Howls moving castle, but there isn't enough of them to have a anime birthday party :( lol.

If i lived near u I would invite u to my b-day party and it would be a cosplay party but I'm not having a party this year for my b-day.

Omg, thats so hot. I never liked L in the actual DN anime, but the guy who plays him in the actual films, Ken'ichi Matsuyama, is so hot!

I love L. I love the anime L and the person who plays him in the movie.

Ah see thats awesome. I've been reading it longer than I've been watching it, cause I think it was because I watched it first for why I started to dislike it, although now I like the manga and the anime *nods*

Ahh yes! Death Note is such an awesome series. Definatly one of my favourites. The guy who plays him is just so adorable, I still haven't seen the third Death Note movie though, thats based just on L :( I want it for Christmas, but according to amazon its coming out AFTER christmas, so I might have to wait :( lol

Haha, I spent my whole weekend just collecting random pictures and LJ icons of him, and watching interviews on youtube, even though I couldn't understand a word cause they were in japanese with no subs haha.

I still prefer the anime version of Death Note, but the films do come close second :P

My mum doesn't understand anime, I give her lists for my birthday and stuff, and she goes to the store and is all like 'hmmm no idea' then she has to try and find someone to explain what it is she's looking for but she can't pronounce anime, so everyone probably looks at her like O_o haa.

I'm hoping I just get DVDs and money this year lol, cause I'm saving for a new games console...but there are various DVDs I want that would be nice.

My christmas presents are never a surprise, cause my mum is awful at keeping surprises! ...Or when its a surprise she usually buys me something I hate, I mean I know its the thought that counts, but she obviously doesn't put in much thought if she buys me a pink jacket I'm never gonna wear or something :P haha.

See the only reason my mum wants me to have one is for university...but since I'm the only one in the house who uses this computer pretty much [we have two ...this is the new computer which is vista, and we have an old version too] I might be allowed to take this to university with me anyway, so there isn't much point in me getting one.

There r cheaper ones but idk y she couldn't get a cheaper one.
yeah. There is another computer down stairs that I use for my really old computer games like American McGee's Alice.
But the one I'm on is in my room.
