Humans are pretty apt to die in 2012.

People said the world would end in 1998. But we're all still here, just don't believe when people say that the world is going to end. It's all fake predictions, no man actually knows when the world is going to end.

Setting the date for the end of the world is.....terrifying. And if someone did know the date, I would not want to know :D

well I don't believe the earth will end without knowledge, God gave us a detailed explanation of how the earth will end, he will end it and then judge everyone according to their deeds. you can read revelations to find out more

the exact date no one knows, but we are given signs beforehand to tell us how far away we are

I highly doubt that the apocolypse will come in 2012. The Mayans were pretty damn smart, but no one knows when we're gonna all die.
