Did I do the right thing?

Okay, so my friend and I got into a fight tonight (if you were in the bar, you know about this already), but that's different than this.

Same friend is having a party tomorrow. Birthday party, ya know? Well, i was gonna go, but then I got this funny feeling that said that it wasn't safe. Instincts I guess. Well, I messaged her on MyYearbook and said that I feel sick and I don't know if I can make it tomorrow.

I don't know if I did the right thing, but I don't wanna risk it... what are your guys's thoughts??

I don't mean to be dramatic, I was just merely wondering...

BTW I feel fine, just a headache and a stuffy nose.

You should have gone if you'd already had the fight. You could have made up at the party and become friendly again!

But if there are drugs, alcohol and unsafe stuff, you did the right thing, Pein!

Okay, coz I feel really guilty. But if I hear about a murder or something else bad happen there, is it not self centered to feel relief that it wasn't me?

It's regular human reaction of ethical egoism. Think of one's self and one's survival first and then worry about others who didn't make the wise choice like you did.

I'm not going, no worries ^.^ I just always have a bad feeling whenever I go over there, so yeah.

Pein, I do think you did the right thing. When I read the whole story, I got that feeling a little bit.

I think that's very responsible of you Pein. So I think you did the right thing. I usually don't go to parties. Especially since I'm a junior and a lot of parties now are hXc. No worries I'm sXe tho. But nevertheless, good job on your actions imo.

Thanks Spyke. I'm sXe too, and with that friend, anything is possible o.o I hate social stuff anyways. I don't even celebrate my own birthday coz I don't like parties.
