Starting a new school...

is sooo not funny. So I have to go to a 7 hour orientation in an hour and a half. No lie. Not like I've never been to a new school, but I seriously know like, 2 people and they're not really my close friends. I'm a junior btw. Advice maybe?

Alright, the hallways...Yes. Everything Else? Uh, No. It's a Freshman thing.

Oh yeah. We had one of those but it was short and we got to leave Middle School to do it (in the end of 8th grade).

Ew. I remember orientation. I had it twice. In 6th grade and last year. Mine were only like 3 hours though. They barely covered most of our campus...

we have a walk around for the new ppl in the school...a week b4 school starts, like an hour or 2 and mostly just students come to pick up their schedules and make sure nothing is wrong.

they have a small orientation for new ppl to the city and for any 7th grader interested.

I haven't started a new school since last year, and that was when I went to junior high. And yes, orientations are boring as hell, and you have no ways of falling asleep unless you do so while the orientators aren't watching. My advice: Just grin and bear it. It'll be over soon (enough), and you only have to smile and nod. You don't even have to pay attention.

Yeah honestly i'm not going to mine...cuz i know the school like so well and have been changing back and forth between two to figure out which one i want to graduate from....HEHEHE!!!

Wow. School bites. Orientation was hella long. Made a few friends tho. Rolan, a senior who moved here yesterday from Bakersfield. And two Thai exchange students who literally arrived here last night at 8. Oh, and Clarence, one of Rolan's friends. They're all seniors, btw. And I got another orientation tomorrow. Like, maybe an hour or so longer. But the other kids there are gay. [EDIT: Not trying to hate on gays. Just kids in California say that hella much. And we all got used to it. So excuse my language.] At least I only have two years there.

Did the Thai kids come from Thai or some other part of America?

I mean they're Thai foreign exchange students. Like they're from Thailand.

Ah cool. There's no foreign exchange students in my school, but then again, we're in junior high, so wtf am I sayin.
